Pure Love -2

Wangji looked at Fengmin one last time and added, "You can live here with the regret of what you’ve done. You forced my Weiying into this wedding, but it won’t happen. From now on, he’s mine." With that, Wangji gently took Weiying’s hand, and they both walked away, leaving Fengmin and Meng Yao behind, powerless to stop them. Outside, Wangji smiled down at Weiying and said, "From now on, you’re mine. I’m never letting you go." Weiying, with tears still in his eyes, smiled back and whispered, "I’m yours." . As they sat in the car, speeding away from the wedding and towards the city, Weiying couldn't help but feel curious. Questions buzzed in his mind—about Wangji, about what had happened since he resigned, and how Wangji had become a police officer. Unable to contain his curiosity any longer, he began to ask Wangji questions one after another. Wangji, sensing his wife's curiosity, smiled. "Alright, my baby. I’ll explain everything." Weiying turned eagerly, eyes wide with anticipation. Wangji began, "I was assigned to an undercover investigation by my seniors. From the moment I first saw you, I fell in love with you. But I couldn’t say anything because of the mission. Remember the day we were caught in the rain? That day was unforgettable for me. I wanted to tell you my feelings then, but the investigation had taken a new turn." Weiying listened intently as Wangji continued. "I found out that Huaisang’s brother was involved in human trafficking. I had to get close to him to collect proof. That’s why I started hanging out with Huaisang." "Oh, so that was the reason," Weiying said, smiling and snuggling closer to his husband. "I thought… I thought you’d fallen for someone else." Wangji chuckled, wrapping an arm around him. "Were you jealous?" "No way!" Weiying pouted, but his face betrayed a small grin. "I just thought maybe you liked him." Wangji leaned in and kissed the top of Weiying’s head. "I only love my baby bunny." Blushing, Weiying asked, "So, what happened after you befriended Huaisang?" "I started talking to his brother and gained his trust. He believed I’d help him smuggle students. That’s when I got enough evidence to c***k the case. The main culprits behind the human trafficking ring were none other than Meng Yao and his father, Jin Guangshan." Weiying's eyes widened. "Wait... Jin Guangshan? The principal of our college?" Wangji nodded. "Yes, the same person. He’s been selling students to other countries. Did you notice how many students disappeared without explanation?" Weiying shook his head in disbelief. "That man... he should rot in hell." "He will," Wangji replied firmly. "Meng Yao was his illegitimate son, and the two of them were partners in crime." Wangji smiled warmly and added, "Now, I’ve shared my side of the story. It’s your turn." Weiying hesitated, a tear slipping down his cheek. "I… I thought you didn’t love me. I had fallen in love with you, and it felt wrong. I’m your teacher, after all, and you’re younger than me. I thought you loved Huaisang, so I left… I left to protect my heart." Seeing Weiying’s tears, Wangji cupped his face gently. "Wife, for your kind information, I’m actually older than you." Weiying blinked. "What? You’re older?" "Yes," Wangji smiled. "I’m four years older than you, though I know I look younger." Weiying’s jaw dropped. "You fooled me! I hate you!" He turned to look out the window, crossing his arms. Wangji chuckled, but seeing Weiying’s pout, he leaned over, gently tugging on his sleeve. "Wifey, listen. I’m sorry. Look, I’m holding my ears in apology." Weiying glanced at him, his annoyance melting away, and threw his arms around Wangji. "I love you, my husband. Only mine. Never leave me alone." Wangji hugged him tightly. "I love you too, my little angel. I’ll never leave you." 🥰The End🥰
