Oh my days! I shouted in surprise startling my younger siblings Carl and Sophia haha
"what's up Anabelle" Carl asked hoping it's not bad news .Ever since dad and mum died we have never received good news, fending for our daily bread by ourselves
"Relax Carl " I said "I just got an interview offer at Ellis Firm again" I added
"well this is the second interview offer from Ellis Firm ,and if I remember correctly you didn't get the job the last time,it was given to an elite " Sophia said loosing hope already"I wonder why you rejected all the job offers right in front of you with big pays, when you best know what we do just to survive "Sophia added with an angry tone and stormed out of the house
I felt a pang of pain in my chest after Sophia said that,I have always known she doesn't like the life we are living all because we are living off someone to go to the best schools and handle most of bills while we work for our food, clothing, electricity bills and also pay off our parents debt while our sponsor handle our rent bills and so many others.
"don't listen to Sophia she's just being paranoid and remember Carl's always here for you "Carl said
The next day which was the day of my interview I made sure I was one hour early and composed even when I had butterflies in my tummy.
To my surprise it's Daniel Ellis himself that's handling my Interview. Wow! life is always full of surprises
Well we exchanged pleasantries and got to his office for the interview
I made sure I delivered a satisfactory response I just hoped it met his qualifications. After the interview he said I should be expecting an email of my performance in the next twenty four hours
Haaaa .I breathed out after the interview. I walked home just to have a clear head just hoping I get an email within twenty four hours .I got home and said a short prayer to the big man up there not to let my expectations not to be met
