"yawn" today is Friday.Shit! I cursed.I woke up late and I have an interview to attend in an hour.I had to skip breakfast just to make sure I don't go late as the host of this interview. Luckily enough for me my chauffeur has already prepared all I need for the day in the car ,hmm well there's nothing to worry about than to hope there's no traffic congestion. "beep beep" ha there goes my phone ringing at such a rush hour. Oh no it's my dad calling "s**t! I cursed for the second time today wondering what wrong I have done for dad to call me .
"Heyy Dad" I said and just like always before dad drops the bomb there was a subtle silence over the phone making the atmosphere stiff
"Daniel how are you doing?" He asked
"dad am ok. Is something wrong?" I asked being shocked. For the first time dad asks about me and just like that he dropped the bomb
"I received an anonymous mail and am sure you've also seen it. I don't know how to break the news to the family but you are a man now I raised to be strong and stand your ground. Oh and also don't forget to outsmart them show me you are Daniel Ellis son"dad said
and just like that I started crying for so long i have missed this boost from dad he just had to make my day bright.
"I love you dad" I whispered and ended the call
Finally at the company forty minutes early and wow I saw Anabelle already there .And wow she doesn't seize to amaze me
"Morning sir"Anabelle greeted with a pretty smile on her face oh my I can't stop my heart from racing
"Good morning Mrs Anabelle"I said "follow me to my office for your interview .I will be the one interviewing you to see for myself what your capable of Anabelle Jones" I added with a smile . Haha I laughed in my head I could see her shocked expression
