ANDREAS'S POV
“Oh Alina you drive me crazy!” I muttered under my breath as I stared at my reflection, I still couldn’t come to terms with reality, that I’m now married to her.
Those pairs of beautiful blue eyes throwing glances at me at the dining table, I couldn’t help but notice them. She is indeed beautiful and everytime I see her, I confirm it.
As I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my cufflinks, my mind wandered to Alina. She was a constant presence in my thoughts, a distraction I couldn't shake.
I couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking, what she was feeling.
I pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand. Tonight was a business event, and I needed to be sharp. But as I made my way to the bedroom, where Alina was waiting for me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. She looked stunning in a red knee-slit dress, her hair styled perfectly, and her makeup subtle yet elegant. I felt a surge of satisfaction knowing that she was mine, that she belonged to me.
"You look...adequate," I said, trying to sound detached despite the admiration I felt.
"Thank you," she replied, her voice soft and demure.
I offered her my arm, and she took it, her hand resting lightly on my sleeve. We made our way
downstairs, where the car was waiting for us. The party was in full swing when we arrived, and Alina's hand tightened on my arm as we entered the room. I could sense her unease, but I didn't offer her any reassurance. Instead, I focused on the task at hand, mingling with the guests and making small talk.
But I couldn't help but notice the way men looked at her. They couldn't take their eyes off her, and I felt a surge of irritation. She was mine, and I wouldn't let anyone take her away from me. I kept a close eye on her, making sure she was safe and happy.
As the night wore on, I found myself drawn to her more and more. She was intelligent and witty, and I enjoyed her company. But I couldn't let my guard down, not even for a moment. I had to keep my distance, maintain my composure.
As the evening drew to a close, I realized that I had forgotten about the business deals and
networking opportunities that were the usual purpose of these events. All I could think about was Alina, and how much I wanted to get her alone.
"Let's go," I said, my voice low and even.
Alina nodded, and we made our way out of the room. The car was waiting for us, and as we drove home, I couldn't help but steal glances at her. She was beautiful, intelligent, and strong. And she was mine.
But I couldn't let myself get too close to her. I had to keep my distance, maintain my control. I couldn't let her see how much I wanted her, how much I needed her.
As we arrived home, Alina yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. "I'm tired," she said, her voice soft.
"I'll walk you to your room," I replied, getting out of the car and offering her my arm.
She took it, and we walked up the stairs together. As we reached her bedroom door, I turned to her, my eyes locking onto hers.
"Goodnight," I said, my voice low.
"Goodnight," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
I leaned in, my lips brushing against her cheek. "Sleep well, my wife," I whispered.
And as I pulled back, I saw something in her eyes that made my heart skip a beat. It was a spark of attraction, a flicker of desire. And I knew that I wasn't the only one who felt it.
But I didn't react. I didn't show her how much I wanted her. Instead, I turned and walked away,
leaving her to wonder what was going on in my mind.
As I watched Alina walk into her bedroom, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The evening had been a success, and she had been a stunning companion. She had charmed everyone with her wit and beauty, and I had found myself growing more and more proud to call her mine.
But as I turned to leave, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Clara's presence had left on me. She was Alina's stepsister, and I had always known that she had a certain...let's say, "fascination" with
me. But I had never encouraged her, and I had made it clear that I was only interested in Alina.
As I walked into my own bedroom, I couldn't help but think about Clara's behavior. She had
I have always been a bit possessive and controlling, but tonight had been different. There had been a desperation in her eyes, a sense of urgency that had made me uncomfortable.
I pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand. I had work to do, and I couldn't let my personal life get in the way.
But as I sat down at my desk, I couldn't help but think about Alina. She was a mystery to me, a puzzle that I was still trying to figure out. And I was determined to uncover all of her secrets.
As I worked, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Clara was going to be a problem. She had always been a bit of a wild card, and I knew that she wouldn't take kindly to being rejected.
But I was prepared to deal with her. I would do whatever it took to protect Alina, to keep her safe from harm.
And if that meant keeping Clara at arm's length, then so be it. I would do whatever it took to keep Alina safe, even if it meant sacrificing my own relationships.
As the night wore on, I found myself growing more and more restless. I couldn't focus on my work, and my mind kept wandering back to Alina and Clara.
I knew that I had to be careful, to keep my distance from Clara and focus on Alina. But as I sat there in the darkness, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.
And I knew that I would have to be vigilant, to protect Alina from whatever dangers lay ahead.
But for now, I would just have to wait and see. And keep my eyes open for any signs of trouble.
As I sat there, lost in thought, I heard a faint noise coming from outside my room. It was soft, almost imperceptible, but it was enough to make me sit up and take notice.
I listened intently, my heart pounding in my chest. And then, I heard it again. A faint scratching sound, coming from the hallway outside my room.
I got up, my senses on high alert. And I walked over to the door, my eyes scanning the hallway for any sign of movement.
But there was nothing. Just the darkness, and the silence.
I stood there for a moment, my heart pounding in my chest. And then, I heard the sound again.
This time, it was louder, more insistent.
I knew that I had to investigate. And so, I walked out into the hallway, my eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of trouble.
And that's when I saw her. Clara, standing in the shadows, her eyes fixed on me with an intensity that made my skin crawl.
"Clara, what are you doing here?" I asked, my voice firm.
But she just smiled, a sly smile. "I think you know why I'm here, Andreas," she said, her voice low and husky.
And with that, she t
ook a step closer to me, her eyes locked on mine.
