I hated the previous night for a variety of reasons, ranging from attempting suicide to cheating on my boyfriend and witnessing a fight between him and his brother. I was relieved that it was over, and I hoped that today would be different, with less drama and less Cameron. Last night was a mistake, and I never wanted it to happen again. Today was the last day of school, and even though I did't look forward to the tiring advice, I needed something to take my mind off Cameron.
“I will see you after school. My last class had better be worth it,” Daren said, kissing my forehead in front of my class. Then he let go of my hand, and I walked into my first lecture.
