“Great!” I exclaimed after the man finished speaking. Then I paced around the room while Cameron stood there, thinking about what to do.
“Sir, we need to leave now before they arrive,” the man said, and Cameron turned to face me.
I was not particularly enraged by what was going on. I just did not expect my vacation to end for some stupid reason, and I did not want to go back to the pack.
I would get to see Rochelle’s face as well as the King makers.
“Athena,” Cameron said as he walked towards me, his face downcast.
He took my hands in his and exhaled.
“We have to leave. This is not werewolf territory, and they would kill us without looking back,” Cameron explained. My emotions were blank, and I did not know what to feel..
“I understand,” I said as I walked away to my room.
