Larry rubbed his throbbing temple and spoke to Director Wayne, who was sitting across from him. "Director Wayne, my dream was a bit different today. I dreamed that Quincy celebrated my birthday with me, then said goodbye to me." Director Wayne jotted down Larry's words in the medical record, his voice carrying a note of relief. "This means the hypnotherapy is working. You've taken the first step, and you're starting to accept Quincy's passing." Larry tugged at the corner of his mouth, unable to speak or force a smile.
