Jason’s P.O.V Once we were back in Erin’s room the doctor came to check how she was doing; it sounded as though her little dip in the river had done a serious number on her. “We should be able to discharge you tomorrow,” he smiled. “Where is home exactly?” “L.A.” said Erin and the doctor and nurses’ expressions fell into shock. “That’s a long way from Kansas,” she said. “What’s brought you all the way out here?” he said with polite curiosity. I glanced at Erin, wondering what her response would be to this. “I was heading up north to stay with friends, but now I think I just wanna go home,” she smiled innocently.
