Thank you so much for reading Lily's story. I've had it ticking away in the back of my mind since I finished the Ashryn Barker trilogy back in 2018, but it took awhile for Lily to start telling me what her story was. As it unfolded, it all became clear what was going on. And why it had taken so long for the story to take shape. Lily needed someone who would understand the way her past shaped her, and Bryce was that perfect match. Both of them are damaged by awful things they were forced to do, but that means the two of them are able to help one another through it. If you haven't read Bryce's backstory, you can here! He was born in the City Of Blood (the setting of the series of the same name, and the Black Fan series) and escaped at the end of Bite Of The Past.
