Gert has headache from all this fighting.” Which was technically impossible, but figuratively unanimous. “Amen,” said I. “Amen,” said Steven, cell phone in hand. “Who are you calling?” I asked, his other hand still in mine. I hadn’t let it go just yet, afraid I’d wake up from this dream I was seemingly in. He smiled and replied, “Reinforcements, just in case.” And that they were, a pack of reinforcements, in fact.
