Tristan remembered they were not allowed to shift during the fight. They were asked to fight in their human form. Victor had hit Tristan first, but he had dodged the blow and hit Victor with an even harder blow. His Beta, Leandro, watched and hated the fact that he could not do anything, as he hated Victor with passion. They both fought very hard, with each of them experiencing serious injuries. Victor fought desperately with a hunger for the title in his eyes.
The pack members watched like hungry wolves. Victor's people hoped for him to win. As they fought, Tristan perceived that Victor's fight was not just about winning, and he confronted him while he held him down.
