The Myriad and the Mafia

Chapter 2

Jagger Pov: 

            After leaving the house we went to pick up my girlfriend. I know what your thinking why am I not waiting for my mate? It’s because am almost 19 in a couple of months and my mate could no longer be alive or heir she doesn’t want me. So I just decided to sleep around and party. My parents had a problem with it at first but now they don’t have a problem with it including my sister who is nine years old. When it comes to that little girl I would die for her she is the love of my life. Anyway we got to my girlfriends house and knocked on the door and no she doesn’t know about me being a mafia boss because am going to at least save that secret for the person I will actually truly love. “ Hey Becky. Ready to go?” I ask as I kiss her. Another thing she is completely obsessed with me and being mother to my kids and my Luna. Yeah like that would ever happen. Don’t get me wrong she is a nice person but she is way too clingy and she is just a power hungry b***h. Even if she is an alphas daughter she wants more power. Her pack is one of the smallest packs in the United States. “ Yes I am babe. By dad.” “ Bye sweetheart. Have a nice day at school. You too Jagger.” Her dad alpha Dalton said . “ Thank you sir.” Becky and I get into the car and head on. “ Where should we eat breakfast?” Ajax asked. “ How about we head to Starbucks and then head to Burger King.” “ Yeah that sounds great.” So we head for Starbucks then Burger King. We walk in , Becky and Kat give us their orders as they go find us a place to sit. “Hi, how may I help you?” The cashier lady said eyeing the guy behind us who was looking at his phone. “ we’d like to have four hash browns, four fries and one pretzel.” Ajax said. “ ok that would be fifteen dollars and fifty six cents.” I handed her a twenty dollar bill and she told us to wait at in corner till our number was called. The guy behind us went up to order and looked up from his phone and I immediately recognized him as Rocco. “ Rocco,” I called out to him right after he had just finished ordering. He looked up and came our way. “ Sup guys. How was your summer brake?” He asked . Rocco knows am in the mafia and am alpha vampire. I know he is in another mafia but he says that his boss never wants information that’s gathered way to easily . I don’t know why but I would love free info on another mafia, but I wouldn’t do that to his boss and respect their privacy for now. “ It was good . Lots of parties and hangovers. How about you?” “ Same thing even now Dom and Quinn have quite a headache since the summer closing party.” Also another thing I don’t get about is why he mostly hangs out with the nerds except us. “ Am sure they passed out first . Especially with all the wolf alcohol in there systems.” “ Actually they never passed out ,not even after having seven kegs of alcohol . Even I can’t hold in that much alcohol and Dom never got a speeding ticket when taking Quinn and I home. One things for sure never judge a book by the cover especially those two ladies. They have been bread by the devil himself especially Dom.” He said in all serious tone. “Anyways by guys. See you at school.” He grabbed his coffee and left. “Dude what was that about ?” “I don’t know man.” Our number had been called and we got our food and headed for the booth the girls found. “ Hey . Wasn’t that Rocco?” Katerina asked. I nodded . We started eating our food my mind wandering off to what Rocco said. I wonder what he means by that. “s**t” Katerina said. We all looked at he confused. “ We are late for school.” I checked my phone to see the time and shockingly we were late by fifteen minutes. At least from where we are it would only take a couple of minutes. We packed our food and rushed towards my car. As I was speeding down the highway a cop came out of nowhere and started the siren. “s**t” I said. I drove even faster making a couple of turns and finally loosing him. We arrived at school and went to the attendance offices to get our schedules. We all compared our schedules and found out I only have two classes with Becky which are science and Pe. Then I have all of my other classes with Ajax and Katerina, which am glad because Becky is a pain in the ass. We head to our first class laughing and taking how I out ran the cop." Alright everyone its time to ope-." "Hahaha. Dude that s**t was hella crazy that mann thought he could compete with you. Well jokes on him asshole." We walked into class laughing and cheering. We look around the class and then I see Dominique ,Quincy and Rocco. ‘Isn’t she supposed to be a junior ‘ I thought to myself. I keep looking at her as she bites her lower lip making me want to kiss her. She runs her hand through her jet black hair making me want to grab a fistful of her hair. I want to explore beyond her innocent features and see who she truly is.What am I thinking she is just a need there is nothing sexy about her . I have the sexiest girl in school as my girlfriend. But why am I so attracted to her? My wolf Justin kept moving up and down chanting something in my head. I finally focused in on what he was saying and what he said caught me off guard. “MATE....MATE.....MATE” ‘What’ I asked shocked. It took everything in me to stop him from coming out and claiming her. She finally looked up letting me see her amber eyes. Damn.....did I tell you she was breathtaking with her full plum lips and rosy cheeks. You can only imagine what she is hiding under all those clothes. ‘ What am I thinking. I need to stop and focus on the teacher.’ "Mr. Aldine, Ms.Dalt-". "It's actually Mrs. Aldine." she said all giddy and excited.  I rolled my eyes at Becky .'Yea as if she would ever be my queen or luna. She doesn't even compare to our mates sexiness.' my  wolf said and i had to agree with him but not at the sexy part. 'why can't she sense us' i asked. 'because stupid she is sixteen and feel  us when she is seventeen.' he replied.  " I will read whats on the roster young lady and i will not tolerate your disrespect. Am I clear." Ms.Holt asked. Everyone nodded their head not expecting an old lady to raise her voice at us. "Alright lets try this again. Mr. Aldine,Ms. Dalton and Mr and Ms. Petrova, why were you four late to class. " We went out to get breakfast ." Katerina said showing her their starbucks and buger king bags. " Detention after school. now please go and have your seats." As am heading over to my seat in the back I realized she was sitting at my desk and my wolf was so happy that she was sitting on our desk. My wolf told me to leave her be but me being stubborn as i am i turned around.   " Hey nerd move out of my seat." I asked her in a none polite way. "it's not your seat because it doesn't have your f*****g name. So i want you to get the f**k out my face before i hurt you.because am in a pissy mood." she said. "I don't give two f***s about your mood for all I care you can die."My wolf whinned at the thought of our mate dying. She stood up and banged her hands on the table knowing people were taking photos and videos . "If i wanted to die i would have climbed up your massive ego and jumped down to your IQ. So i want you to turn your ass around and go find yourself somewhere else to seat." I was shocked at the response she gave me. Nobody has ever talked to me like that.I felt pissed , proud and turned on at the fact my mate isn't as weak as she looked. Then the phrase Rocco told me came back into my head.(flashback) "They have been bread by the devil himself especially Dom" (end of flashback). We stood eye to eye for a good minute and i took the time to look at her beutiful features. Her full kissable lips , rosy cheeks and the flashes of red that pass through her eyes. At her five two height she is pretty intimidating and her scent does not help me at all. She smells like citrus fruits mixed in with the forest. " Touche......Touche." i say and back down. I go sit on the other side of the class.  "Damn babe. You seriously weren't taking any bullshit today." Quinn said as I watched Rocco get water out his nose and calm down after the fit of lauhter he just had.  I watch her for the remaining time we had in class and i knew she knew i was watching her. The bell rang Dom, Quinn and Rocco dipped out of class. I pack up my books and wait for the others outside the class. " That was entertaining" Katerina said with a large smile on her face. "She got you good man" Ajax patted my shoulder while laughing. "Who does that slut think she is" Becky said. It took everything man to surpress the growl that wanted to rip out of my throat. Instead i just glared at her and she never paid any mind to me. Becky's possy came out of nowhere and took her too class. I on the other hand went to my next class with Ajax and Katerina and shockingly there she was. The girl who single handedly f****d my life up. I sat right behind her in all the classes we had together and just watched her unitl lunch. I walked in the cafeteria with Ajax and Katerina. Immediately all eyes were looking at us but i was looking for a certain pair. Then there they were those amber eyes looking directly at me. We held eye contact for a while then she looked away. "Hey dude are you listening?" Ajax asked. " No, sorry." "What's wrong Jag. Are you ok?" Katerina asked worry laced in her voice. "Yea. actually i found my mate." i said with excitement. "Really" they both said and i nodded. " Well we also have some good news." Katerina said. She looked at her brother then nodded at each other. "Well.....we also found our mates." They said in pure excitement. We all celebrated in victory. "Who is it we all asked at once." "Ajax you first" i said. "Ok prepare yourself for this..........Quincy Bancroft." "Seriously." his sister asked. he nodded with a small smile. "Your turn Jag." Kat said. "Well it's ............ Dominique Creed." " No way dude we got best friends." Ajax smiled. We looked at Kat signaling her to tell us who her mate is. "Well i got .....Rocco Hyde ." We all smiled because we got three best friends as mates. "Your longtime crush Rocco is your mate .how do you feel?" I asked because she has a crush on him for the longest time. " I feel scared , excited and happy."she said. "But I feel him give of a deadly yet dangerous and myseterious vibe." she said ." Same goes here with my mate." Ajax and I repplied."How should we tell them." I asked  Ajax . " I don't know because both girls are sixteen" he said. "Hello guys!" our mates said . " May we sit with you?" Quinn asked looking at Ajax. I nodded at them and they all sat next to their mates . Rocco grabbed Kat's hand knowing full well what he was doing. "We know that you guys are our mates." Dom said. We all looked at our mates shocked. " Before you ask how we know, we will explain later.But we have one question?" Quinn said looking at us directly . "What is it" she asked looking at Rocco. 'What if mate doesn't want us' my wolf said sadly. "Don't worry,were not rejecting you." Dominique reassured us. "Do you guys trully accept us as your mates?" Rocco asked this time looking at Kat with a stoic face, same goes with Dom and Quinn looking at us. Aj, Kat and I looked at each other and then nodded. "We faced our mates and held their hands. "We trully accept you guys as our mates"  we said together. They smiled and hugged us. We could feel eyes on us , we didn't mind it tho but our mates did. "Do you have nothing better to do  PISS OFF." They said together. Soon after the happy celebration, my supposed girlfriend decided to show up in the cafeteria. She walked straight to us and i felt Dom stiffen. Quinn and Rocco were by her side in seconds. " Hey baby" Becky said. She looks and notices Dom, Quinn and Rocco and gets pissed. "What the f**k babe. why are the nerds here . well except Rocco" she winked at him making Kat growl lowly. "What's up with her ?" Becky asked . " You want to know her problem slu-"Dom was saying till Quinn and Rocco slapped there hands across her mouth. "Handle this now before this womans prohanity levels will increase at a higher rate." Quinn said. " Listen here Becky, we are breaking up." " What why?" she asked." Because i know about you cheating on me and I never liked you in the first place." She started sobbing and screaming at me but i never cared. After a while she left me alone.  We turn back to our mates and waiting for them to talk. "Adira." Rocco said. " Wait a minute whho is Adira?" we all asked. " It's your mate Jagger." they replied. " Meet us behind the school after school and we will tell you everything" Dom said then left , not before giving me a kiss on the cheek. Same goes for her friends, but not before giving there mates a kiss on the cheek. " What do you think they are gonna reveal to us?" Aj asked. "I don't know . but when they were sitting here they radiated alot of power." Kat said. " Well i guess we have to wait and find out" I said. We wen't to our remaining classes and shockingly our mates never came to class. The school day ended and went to the back of the school like we were told and surprisingly enough they were there with their cars ,but they seemed different. They changed clothes and removed the their nerdy style. " Welcome mates! yes this is our real style of clothing and this is how we truly look." Rocco said. "Where's my car " i asked. " Its at our place. It was really hard picking it out the crowd . But our cop friend that chased you guys down the highway gave us your car plate " Dom said showing of her tattoos  and man were they sexy asf. Especially in her black sports bra, black midd-waist ripped jeans and her leather jacket. Its the same outfit Quinn is wearing but Quinn's is a tank top. "Alright lets go ... I hope you guys don't get car sick easily?" Dom asked with a smirk on her face. " No we can hold our lunch " Kat said back. "Ok ....lets see then" Quinn said. " A'ight bet." Aj said. " OK....... LETS MOVE OUT." "Ready babe" she asked. "Ready as i'll ever be baby." " Ok lets go" and with that we sped away.
