Chapter Nine-1

2204 Words

Chapter Nine Joshua Greig Joshua was checking on bookings, trying to work out when they might be able to squeeze in some of the groups they’d postponed, when his phone went off. He reached out, and just as he wrapped his fingers around the device to pick it up, a whoosh signalled the arrival of his brother. He gripped the phone tightly and let out a sigh. “Bloody hell, Taylor! I thought ye were going tae stop rushing around like that when it isnae necessary.” It was then he noticed Taylor was quivering, his eyes out on stalks. Even for him, he looked manic. “It is necessary, bro. The alert,” he indicated the phone still in Joshua’s hand, unchecked, “was from the gates. It’s Orlov. Vladimir Orlov. And he’s not alone.” “What?” Joshua stared at his twin, scarcely able to believe his ears.
