Falling deeper

Prologue

It all started with three failure engagements.

Corine Lopez is a 29-year-old woman who was born with a golden spoon in her mouth. She was only 18 years old back then when she started taking things seriously because of a responsibility passed to her from his late father.

Everything changes when she fell in love with her university classmate when she was 24 and got engaged with him when she was 25. However, 2 months before the wedding he withdrew because he made someone else's pregnant. Not long after she knew that the other woman was her best friend.

At 27, she met a man from a business trip. He was the son of a Japanese business tycoon who just signed a contract of business with them. The man has been very gentle, romantic, and handsome. He would travel a long distance to see her and not long after he proposed to Corine. She was overwhelmed by how he acted. After the proposal, the man excused himself to go to the comfort room and forgot to bring his phone with him. The phone rang just the same as Corine's message tone and thought it was her phone. She looked at it and opened it. At first, she regretted opening the phone because it is not hers, however, she saw a message named "dad" saying "son, it is now or never. Make sure to make that woman marry you as soon as possible. We need them, remember that."

They were celebrating her 28th birthday at a fancy hotel and met a guy named Aster. This name marked so deeply in her heart. They had a story that they both made only for them. They made their relationship secret for 1 year and 7 months. Their relationship was hidden not until they were engaged. Aster and Corine were in the same kind of situation in life. They found so many things familiar to both of them and that made them comfortable with each other. However, a month after the proposal, the day which they were supposed to be attending their first marriage counseling before getting married, Aster got into an accident and died.

Corine's grandfather was aware of all these things, however, he had reached his limits and must stop working and focus on his health. Corine was still grieving Aster's death. His grandfather made a team to cover the works for 6 months and make Corine do some recollection at his best friend's big farm at Harula West Province.

Corine agreed to his grandfather's idea but on her way, she runs into an accident that will make her fall deeper into a situation and will be hard to move out of.
