Star was on her way home from her duty at the mental institution. She would have to change rides five times before reaching Bulacan. Her stomach was growling from hunger. She wanted to buy fish balls and a cold drink but hesitated. Her budget was just enough for the fare, and her next salary was still far off. She sighed as the NLEX was also congested. There was probably another concert happening at a large arena. She arrived home even later, and her hunger grew stronger. "Mano po, Mommy," she greeted her aunt Rita respectfully. "Why are you late?" her aunt asked in an annoyed tone. Star felt even more drained by her aunt's tone. "It's because of the heavy traffic," she explained. "By the way, Star, I renewed my loan. I doubled it. Two hundred thousand. I'm joining an online business.
