A Vengeful She-Wolf

                Waking up the next morning was atrocious.. My head hurt and even worse Jason wasn’t there. I scrambled out of my bed instantly regretting it as a new surge of pain throbbed my brain threatening to bring on the worst headache ever. My wolf was silent today, I tried talking to her, but she said nothing. Walking down the stairs I see my mate sitting at the table, he was fixing two plates, one I was guessing was for me. “You didn’t have to do all of this.. “I groaned before settling in the chair beside him. The rest of the pack started to fill in and take their places among the table with their mates. Once everyone was settled in we started serving out portions to everyone, Jason had cooked breakfast today, which was odd cause he never does that. “Thank you Alpha for making the food, you really didn’t have to! The Omega’s were up and ready to make it, they said you shooed them off. “Our Beta Henry said with a mouth full of pancakes. “This pack will not be how it use to, me and your Luna have decided everyone will be equal, with the exclusion of me, your Luna, and your Beta’s of course, that role stays the same. “My mate said professionally, and I swear I was going to melt. He’s taking on the role of Alpha so well. Everyone smiled and I could see acknowledgment in my parent’s eyes, they were proud of me, and that’s something I loved the most, for someone to be proud of me.

            After eating everyone had gone out to train, I let the Beta’s take care of it as me and Jason had some unfinished pack work to take care of. I had started to feel a bit warm but brushed it off as my being nervous. “You feeling ok babe? “Jason said sliding his hands around my waist from behind. I nodded at him, turning, and pecking his lips softly. I loved this man to death; I cannot stretch that enough. As we descended the stairs I felt another wave of heat hit me, I grunted but again, brushed It off. The heat flashes ended for the rest of the day while me and Jason worked on pack work. A knock on the door made me drop my pen and stare daggers at its wooden frame. “Come in. “I said finally getting back to the documents I was currently writing on the recent attack on out neighboring pack. Jacey came in with a worried expression on her face, her being my friend, I dropped what I was doing to tend to her needs. “Jacey are you alright? “I asked her, and she shook her head, her eyes landed on Jason, and I could see the worry increase. Jason looked at her with sympathy, we all smelled it, and we all felt it. “You’re pregnant.. “I told her slowly and she almost flinched and started crying. “I am scared Alice… “She whispered as she looked at me with pleading eyes. “I don’t know how to tell Henry; I am scared he will flip out or something. He told me pups aren’t something he is good at taking care of.. “She said. Her breath started to shake as she spoke, her words laced with grief and regret. “I don’t know how it happened, my heat came one moment, then when we completed the process, the next month I am puking my heart out! I asked the pack doctor what is wrong, and she ran some tests just to find out I am expecting! “I pulled her into an embrace and looked at Jason, he was looking at Jacey with nothing but sympathy and pity. “Listen, Henry will be happy to hear that you’re baring his pups! He knew what was going to happen the moment you guys mated while you were in heat. You’ll be ok! If he gets upset at you, I will personally rip him a new one.. “I growled and she laughed a little. “Thank you a lot.. “She sniffled and hugged me again before giving Jason a hug as well. “Thank you for understanding. “She said again before leaving the room. I turned to Jason; he had a smug look on his face. I rolled my eyes and punched his shoulder. “Don’t get any funny idea’s big guy. “I laughed and he made a dramatic sigh, flailing his arms around like a child. I only laughed and we continued our work for the entire evening.

 **Jason’s POV**

       It was getting late, so we put the rest of the unfinished documents and placed them in the ‘Unfinished Work’ Drawer of the cabinet. Hand in hand we walked out of the office and made out way downstairs where the rest of the pack were enjoying movies and having small talk near the fireplace. We saw Henry and Jacey holding each other near the couch and knew that Henry had accepted his newfound duty as a father to be. I still remember the thought that popped in my head when Jacey delivered the news to us, when was Alice going to go into heat.. It is around the time females normally go into heat, and I can’t help but get excited at the idea of my mate going into heat, if you know what I mean.. Alice plopped down on the couch causing out hands to separate, patting the empty space in the couch, she invited me to sit with her. The movie twilight was playing in the background, and I groaned as I had to sit ... in the middle of this bullshit movie once again. Bella was much better being with Jake then someone who is literally dead. Alice snuggled closer to me, and her breathing started to slow down, I will not lie to you, it was starting to make me tired too. Before I knew it sleep overtook me and I was dreaming of my wonderful mate.

            I was woken up by a rough shake on the shoulder, I opened my eyes to see Alice’s father staring down at me with his eyes full of amusement. “Beds are made for sleeping you know, not couches. “He laughed softly, looking down I could see my mate was still sleeping. “I didn’t want to wake her up, she seemed too peaceful. “he said before walking back upstairs. I groaned into a stretch and carefully slid my mate off me. I got up and scooped her tiny frame into my chest and ascended the stairs. Once up there I opened the bedroom door with my foot, I shut it again and made my way to our bed. “Jason.. “She mumbled in her sleep, and I could not help but giggle at her sleep talking. Laying her softly in the bed I put the covers to the side so that I had enough space to crawl in. She immediately snuggled into my chest and her warmth was more than enough to make me fall asleep, forgetting the covers.

            I was woken by the sound of screaming. I snapped my eyes open and looked around. It was 3:00 A.M. who ever was making this much noise, better be in some real pain. I looked around and noticed that Alice wasn’t there, and immediately it sent red flags to my brain. My wolf was whining up a storm in fear that our mate was hurt or in trouble. Rushing out of the bed I stormed out of the room in the direction of the screams. Alice was stone frozen in the middle of the hallway; her eyes were covered by her hands. “Alice, what’s wrong princess? “I spoke to her, but she ignored me. I peered into the room that she was frozen in front of, inside was nothing more than Henry hovering over a dead wolf that laid on the floor, it’s neck looked broken, and Henry was breathing heavily as a scared Jacey coward in the corner. “The hell happened here?! “I demanded in my Alpha tone. Henry looked at me, his eyes still black as his wolf was in control. “Henry, look at me. “I said calmly as there was visible shaking in his hands. “Speak to me Henry, what happened. “I asked again, Alice walked up to Henry cautiously and grabbed his hands. Instantly Henry’s eyes were back to their normal color, and he stared upon Alice with eyes that were as emotionless as the night. “This rouge busted into our window and tried to attack Jacey in her sleep. I was still awake, so I had fought the rouge and eventually killed it. “he said, his voice was shaking and he could barely stand. Jacey was trembling in the corner; her eyes were as wide as open windows as she stared at the rouge. “The only thing that matters is you and Jacey are safe. “I sighed, Jacey let out a small nod and sat back onto the bed. “I am scared of going back to sleep.. “She whispered, her voiced laced with fear. I understood how they felt, Alice only just looked at me with horror in her eyes. “We have to have someone check the borders, make sure there are no more rouges lurking around the pack house. It’s the only way Jacey is going to feel safe. “she told me as she let go of Henry’s hands so he can go comfort his mate. Henry has never killed someone; he was pretty badly shaken up so I will not be able to take him to check the borders. “I’ll take some people; Alice, please stay here with the others. “She gave me a pointed look, “I will be coming with you, I don’t want to seem weak in a time like this. “she said, there was an odd glow in her eyes as the moon reflected through the window. “Alice it will be much safer for you here, and plus the pack will be freaking out, they need their Luna to calm them, assure their safety. “I told her sternly, I will not let her stubbornness get her killed. She growled but soon calmed down and nodded her head. She was frustrated that she couldn’t help more, but she understood her pack needed her, she was the Luna after all. She hugged me, I could feel her inhale my scent and her muscles relaxed. “I will come back to you mate; I promise. “I told her before heading downstairs to assemble whatever warriors I could. There were 4 males and 2 females I was willing to take with me. Sarah, the head warrior for the females. She had long auburn hair that ended in neat curls, fair skin, and solid green eyes. Cristina, the second in command of Sarah while also being her sister. She had pale brown hair with dark blue eyes and olive skin. Karter, Henry’s brother, who was the head warrior for the males. He looked like Henry only he had Sea Green eyes, almost hazel. Chad, he was the second in command for Karter with Jet black hair, fit build, tan skin, and Brown eyes. Jacob was next, scoring third in fighting techniques, he was very tan with jet black hair and baby blue eyes. He was faster and stronger than the males below him. And our fastest male in the pack, Zuke. He was a lady killer, with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes, very fit, and semi-tan skin. “We are ready Alpha. “they said in unison after I explained the situation. We all shifted and I split them into groups, letting the head warriors lead the party. I went alone to patrol the east side of our boarder. I checked behind every bush, tree, and rock I could find. I found no trace of rouge scent in the area, but I did manage to sniff one, very, familiar wolf.. “Samantha.. “I growled looking around. “Samantha I know you’re out there! “I called out, I snapped my ears back as she appeared out from behind a bush, still her in wolf form. Her tail curled up and her eyes glared at me with a sense of pride. Her wolf wasn’t as kept as I remember it being, she had a silver wolf with yellow eyes. “Well look who it is. “She purred walking up to me, she wove around me wrapping her tail around my neck. I growled at her and pulled away. “Did this have to do with you? Did you send that rouge into Jacey’s room? “I snapped at her, she only giggled and continued trying to rub herself against me. “Yup, that’s right babe. “She purred in my ear and swished her tail over my nose causing me to sneeze. “Don’t call me that, I am not your mate! “I growled at her. A tan wolf with white splotches appeared from behind the bushes. “Technically neither is that she-wolf in your bed, she’s just a fill in when you didn’t accept the fact Samantha was your mate. “The wolf said, it was clearly some male she met a long the way after being thrown out. “You’re both to leave my territory, or I will signal the others to come and both of you will be sorry. “I growled at them, trying to control my Alpha. “Oh we don’t want no trouble sugar, I just want some pay back.. “She giggled and wove her small head under my chin. The tan wolf sniffed the air and had a smug look on his face. “Ah, so you have an expecting female hiding behind those walls.. “The male said and looked at me with a noticeable fire in his eyes. Samantha let out a deep growl, “You got her pregnant didn’t you.. “she said lowly as she narrowed her eyes. “In fact, no I haven’t, but that would be our Beta female you’re smelling who you carelessly attacked a few moments ago! “I snapped. Samantha seemed to have relief filter her eyes, but it disappeared as quickly as it came. “Then that means, you’re not fully claimed. “Her eyes glittered with mischief. She started biting lightly on my neck, the tan wolf watching in amusement. I growled and shoved her off. “What a waste. “Samantha sniffed before she turned to the other male. “Come on, let’s go before he calls the rest of those mutts out here. “She turned to me and flicked her tail. “This isn’t over, ‘Alpha’. “She giggled before leaving with the male.

            I stormed inside trying to find Alice, I was in desperate need to get this frustration. She ran into my arms and inhaled my scent again. “You’ve been gone for a while.. “She was cut off as I grabbed her arm lightly and started pulling her upstairs. She was confused but followed anyways. I opened our door and pulled her in before shutting it again. Gripping her waist, I pulled her too me and kissed her desperately in attempt for her to submit so I could have my way. I could smell her arousal right away and I growled. “Babe, are you ok? “She whispered as I broke the kiss needing some air. “I need you, just shut up. “I growled at her and kissed her again. She moaned in my mouth, and I pushed her onto our bed. We laid there a bit having the most heated make out session before I pulled away and flipped her onto her back. I stripped me and her clothes off and held onto her hips. “Be a good girl for me and remain still. “I said before I started our restless night of passion.
