The Rejection

    I stalked down the stairs to the blonde beauty waiting for me with a smile plastered on her face. She is not my mate; she is not my mate! I told myself. I braced myself for the pain to come as I stood in front of her. Her smile grew bigger as she went to reach for my face. I pulled away and hurt made its way into her eyes. “I am sorry Samantha.” I told her, and her face came to realization to what’s going to happen. “No… You can’t! All for what?!” She said as a single tear came down her face. “I must, you’re not my mate. You never will be! My heart belongs to Alice and only Alice.” I told her and she flinched as though she had been struck in the face. “I, Jason Smith. Reject you, Samantha Wells as my mate.” I said coldly knowing how ignorant I must have sounded. But this was all for my true mate, Alice. “I… Samantha Wells, accepts your rejection.” She said choking on her words before her painful cries could escape her lips. I felt my heart shatter, a part of me leaving behind the rejection. Samantha clung onto the couch gripping her chest as she cried. I walked away with a heavy heart and made my way back to Alice’s room, the room of my true mate. The moon goddess must have made a mistake. I opened the door to see Alice sitting on the bed with her hands on her head. She was trying to silent the cries of Samantha downstairs. Alice… Mate… Rider whined in my head. “Why did you reject her?” She said looking at me, her crystal eyes pinned with guilt and sadness for her friend. “You’re my true mate… Not Sam.” I said as I sat next to her. She stared into my eyes and I swear I saw love pass through it, or maybe it wasn’t real. “No matter now, you can officially be my mate!” I saw her flinch at my words, but then relax and smile. “Just like we thought about as kids.” She whispered. I couldn’t help myself; her smile was everything to me. I leaned over and pressed my lips against hers. She tasted sweet, like honey. Her soft lips moving in sync with mine. I felt my wolf purring with content, Rider was enjoying her as much as me. I licked the bottom of her lip begging for entrance, which she happily granted me. Exploring the inside of her mouth was even sweeter. I felt her moan and I growled pushing her down on the bed. She whined underneath me, and I grabbed her wrists holding it beside her shoulders. She rubbed her leg against my hard member, and I started to grow hungry. I kissed her from the corner of her mouth and down to her marking spot. She moaned and move her head freeing more space for her neck so that I could mark her. “Mark me Jason… Make us officially mates.” She whispered softly rubbing her finger on my wrist. I kissed and sucked on the spot on her neck listening to her sweet sounds of pleasure before I mark her officially. “Maybe… After you settle this.” I said pressing my pelvis against hers so she could feel my passion for her. I felt a wave of pleasure myself as she sunk her canines into my neck and marked me as hers, an Alpha thing. “You’re mine now… Alice.” I smiled against her neck and she sighed in content. I got up from between her legs and laid beside her holding her close to my chest. “I love you Alice.” I whispered. “I love you too, Jason.” She said before sleep overtook us.

**Alice's POV**

     I woke up to heat pressing up against my back, I smirked knowing already who it was. I moved out of his arms earning a low growl and being pulled back into comfort. “Jason, it’s time to get up. “I laugh before he groans and loosens his grip on me. “Ten more minutes… “He whines, ever so cutely. I brush my thumb on his cheek admiring its structure. He was well built and had a killer jaw line. I get up and put on a shirt and some shorts before looking over to see Jason getting up. I blushed when thinking of the events of last night, only to be caught touching his mark on my neck. He walks closer to me placing his hands firmly on my hips biting his lower lip. “Anyone ever told you how incredibly sexy you are? “He says with a naughty smile, one that would send another female swooning. “Anyone ever tell you how good you look in the morning? “I reply back earning a chuckle on his behalf. I take a quick shower and meet him downstairs to see a large crowd. “It hurts alpha… “I hear Samantha whine. She still must be in pain from Jason’s rejection and I couldn’t help but feel guilt. As I began to advance forward, I can see the results, her hair was a mess and eyes still red from the tears she’s bore all night. Jason came closer to me placing his arms around my shoulders. “She’ll be over it in no time, and maybe the moon goddess will put her with her true mate. “Jason said coldly. Samantha was my friend, and here I am standing like a bump on a log next to her rejected mate. “Maybe… “I whispered slowly. Alice is my true mate. Not her. “He said and didn’t even bother to see Samantha’s sobs grow louder with each cruel statement. “I see, well. When the mating process is done, you will be the new leaders of this pack. **Samantha’s POV**

    I couldn’t take it… He rejected me over what, HER. What does she have that I don’t? Long luxurious hair that makes all the alpha’s crumble to their feet. With unnatural Icey Blue eyes, where they’re almost like frozen crystals? Who likes ORANGE hair anyways…? The two members holding me to my room were starting to coo at me, telling me I’ll be ok. I will NOT be ok, my mate just appeared and disappeared! Just like that, in a single hour my dreams were crushed away. I heard a crash as the door bursts open and in came the Beta Female herself. “What are you doing you SLUT. “How she spat out that word, it was swigged with hate and venom. “More than you can do, Venessa. “I heard her commanding growl at that, and I sighed, stupid wolf, stupid ranks… The beta glared at me as he embraced his mate in front of me, mocking me. “Never come near me again, or so help me the ALPHA will find out about this. “He said stone cold this time and left the room with his mate trailing behind before leaving me another stoned growl and slammed the door. I groaned and went to sleep after that, what had gotten into me, I should have known she was going to feel something was wrong.

    I woke up that night to the sound of pants and sounds of love. It made me angry, the beta is taking it too far. “I wish that I could just rip their furry tails right out of their spines… “I whisper and try putting a pillow over my head. I know they are being extra obnoxious today because of my stunt, and Max is only making sure I know where I truly belong. Not with him, not with anyone, but alone. If that cunt hadn’t taken my mate away from me, I would be a mated female as of right now. BUT no, the moon goddess gave me a worthless male for a mate who only wanted her as his true mate. The sounds eventually died an hour later but It was sickening. The alarms had gone off and it was time to wake up. Thanks Beta, you kept me up all night with the stupid calls of your ugly pathetic mate. I groaned getting up and changed into a white tee shirt and some synthetic grey sweats. I descended the stairs only to be glared at by the beta and his female. I rolled my eyes and I earned another warning growl from Venessa. As I was grabbing bacon and eggs and a few pancakes I could hear laughter descending the stairs. I knew who it was by the pang in my heart that subsided by the laugh I was hearing, and a low growl formed in my throat, but not audible to the laughing mates. “Last night, was wild! “I heard her say, what did they do last night…? I was curious so I kept listening. “I’m sure it was princess, the look on your face was priceless. “Jason said grabbing her arm and giving it a squeeze. The pain became unbearable, so I hid it behind a smile and turned around, and man was that a bad idea… Let me rip her throat out! My wolf howled as I saw the mating marks on Jason and Alice. I saw it, the mark of alpha’s written all over Jason’s neck… I almost dropped my plate when Alice looked at me with a tiny bit of guilt in her pathetically non-human Crystal blue eyes. “Sam, are you feeling better? “She said in that pathetic sweet Luna want to be tone. I managed a smile so she could get off my back and went to eat at the opposite side of the table. Well, WHAT do you know, she decides to sit next to me, as if we were FRIENDS? “I like to eat without being stared at… Alice. “I mumbled trying not to give any sign of venom in my tone. “Why? We always sit together at the table. What is wrong, you’ve changed… “Alice said pouting playing with my shoulder. Bite her, tear her to pieces! She claimed what was ours… She is right, even my wolf is changing. Just last night my wolf was telling me how pathetic I was acting and to just let our mate be happy. After seeing the mark she’s a whole new person. “Nothing, Alice. “I mumbled again and this time I heard her sigh. “Alice, she’s just upset. She’s not worth the time. “I head Venessa say across the table and looked up to see her eyes glaring into mine. I HATE her face… How could Max love an ugly she-wolf such as her? He will be ours. Doubt that, he’s too loyal… Unless… A thought popped in the back of my head; all guys make mistakes when they are drunk. And sooner or later Jason and that pathetic excuse of a future alpha will mate and there will be a celebration. The perfect time for wine, and the perfect time for the sweet… sweet revenge. I could see Alice staring at me why Jason left kisses down her neck. Starting with Alice… I will have her feel the same pain I did that night where she forced my mate to abandon me like a rouge being betrayed by her clan.
