Cassie's POV
It was noon already and the so-called business partners were yet to come. So I went to my room to take a nap.
' Cassie, go take a shower and wear something nice ' I heard mom say. I sat up on my bed and raised an eyebrow.
' Wear something nice? It's not like they are here to see me ' I said, getting up from my bed.
' Just do what I say and get the f*****g hell out of your room ' She cursed.
I grumbled and went into my bathroom. After taking a shower, I dried myself, did my thing and went to my closest to pick a dress. Then I settled for a red flare gown that stopped right above my knee and put it on. I let my hair down and went downstairs.

Few Minutes Later...
' Cassie, go get the door ' My dad said.
' Okay, dad ' I replied.
I opened the door and saw a man and woman with a little girl about Delaney's age.
' Good afternoon sir, ma'am ' I greeted as I let them in.
' Afternoon dear ' The woman said, smiling at me. The man just nodded with a smile, a smile that looked so familiar, not just the smile but his face. He really looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen him.
' Hi ' I said to the girl.
' Hi miss, you look beautiful ' She smiled. Okay, I've definitely seen that smile somewhere.
' Thanks, you look beautiful also ' I said with a smile and she grinned.
' Welcome to my humble home ' My dad said, shaking the man. My mom and the woman also greeted themselves and hugged each other. We all sat down after all the greetings.
' So where is your son ?' My mom asked, okay now, why is she interested in their son?
' Oh! He's talking to someone on the phone outside, he will s... oh! There he is ' The woman said.
I turned and saw him.
What the f*****g hell!
' You?!' We both said in unison as we stared at each other in surprise.
' Um...do you know each other?' ' My mom asked, looking from me to Henry with a puzzled look.
I didn't answer but kept on looking at him. What's going on?
' Mom, what is she doing here ?' He asked, glaring at me.
' What am I doing here ? I should be asking you that, cause this is my house.' I scoffed.
' Okay, what the heck is going on here? My dad asked.
' Oh dad, he's my stupid classmate who always gets on my nerves ' I replied, giving Henry a hard glare.
' Says the girl who framed me with a bunch of p*********y ' Henry huffed.
' What?!' The woman said.
' Yeah, that's because you started the whole bullshit ' I said, raising my voice, ignoring the presence of our guests.
' Okay, I'm out of here ' He said, moving towards the door.
' Henry, get back here ' The man said sternly, making Henry stop in his tracks.
' But dad...' He started to say, but was interrupted by the man.
Wait!
His dad?
So he's his dad. No wonder the man looked so familiar, and the little girl had to be his sister.
' If you take one more step, Henry, I will make you regret it ' His dad said.
' Um...the food is ready. Why don't we go to the dining room? ' My mom tried to lighten the now tense atmosphere.
' Yes, we should. ' The woman who must be Henry's mom said, dragging Henry with her.
' Mom!' He grumbled.
' Henry, please not now.'
He hesitated a bit and said
' Fine '
I rolled my eyes. He can leave if he wants to.
' Amanda ' Mom called our maid.
' Yes ma'am?' She said, coming to the sitting room.
' Have you set the table?'
' Yes ma'am '
' Okay then. I guess we can all go to the dining ' My mom said, and we all moved to the dining room.
We sat down to eat.
' Cassie, say the grace ' My dad said.
' Okay, dad '
I said the grace and we started eating.
' Cassie?' Henry's mom called.
' Yes ma'am ' I said, looking at her.
' Um...I just wanted to say you look beautiful '
I smiled shyly and said.
'Thank you, ma'am, I took after my mom '
And they all laughed except Henry, of course, who hardly touched his food but concentrated on whatever dumb thing he was doing on his phone.
After we finished eating, I helped with clearing the dining table and made to go to my room, but stopped when I heard my dad's voice.
' Cassie, please come over here '
' Okay dad ' I answered with furrowed eyebrows.
I went ahead and sat down beside Delaney.
Dad cleared his voice and began talking.
' Whatever problem you both have.... I mean Cassie and Henry, it would be better for you both to sort it out, because it's necessary '
' And why is it necessary dad? ' I asked almost immediately, with a squeezed face.
But Henry's dad answered me, saying.
' You see your dad and I made a business deal. That is, the Villoria Group of Companies and Dela Vega Group of Companies will work together to be able to become stronger and prevent any form of both our companies going down in the future.'
' Okay, so what has that got to do with me?' I asked, totally confused. My parents and Henry's parents exchanged some looks that I couldn't understand. Something was definitely wrong.
' Cassie, um you and....' My mom's voice trailed off.
' Okay, I can't say it, David, you say it ' My mom said, looking anywhere but my face.
' You and Henry are getting married ' My Dad said, and I heard a loud bang in my head.
