When we had almost reached Lavender High, I told the cab man to dropped me. I wouldn't want Henry to know I came to school in a cab. The man was surprise with my sudden decision.
' Um...ma'am, we are not yet at your school ' he said, looking at me through the rear mirror with raised eyebrows.
' Thanks, I will just drop here ' I said with a smile.
' Are you sure about this ma'am?'
Okay, what the hell is wrong with this dude?
' Look, I paid you to drive me to wherever I want to take my ass to, not to question me, okay? ' I said with clear annoyance in my voice.
' Oh, I... Um... I'm sorry ma'am. I'm gonna stop the car now ' He stammered as he began to pull over.
That moment I felt really bad saying those words to him, I bit my lower lip in regret.
