Cam’s Point of View:
"Come on let's play volleyball!" Viper invited us to play. She is currently holding a ball. We are currently on the sea shore and I love the combination of blue sky and white white clouds. The waves of the ocean where just fine as well. This is perfect for a summer vacation. I wonder how many people would go here if this island is open for everyone. This would catch the attention of the whole world.
"I'm in!" I said and walked towards Viper. One of my favorite outdoor sport is Volleyball. And I am proud to say that I am one of the Volleyball players in our school back in Manila. I am with Maxyne in this kind of sport. Hannah loves softball while Agatha loves to play badminton.
Nicolai, Viper and I were in the same team while our opponent in another team are the twins, Alliah and Thelonious.
I am the one who first served the ball. Alliah returned it to us and Viper gave it back to them. The first twenty minutes of the game comes like that but it suddenly became intense.
"Hey set it for me." Viper said to Nicolai. Like what Viper wants, when they returned the ball, I was the one who received it before Nicolai set it for Viper.
Viper jumped. She put her force and effort in smashing the ball.
"Nice!" I commented when we got a score.
"Hey chill Vipes!" Thelonious commented while chuckling.
Mitch served the ball and Nicolai received it. He returned it to them and received by Alliah. Thelonious set the ball and Hytham jumped for a spike.
Before it could touch the ground, I ran fast and dig it. Nicolai then assisted and returned the ball to our opponent.
"Yaaaaah! You should let us point a score!" Mitch yelled that makes us laugh.
"You okay?" Nicolai asked after we got another score.
"Yeah I am used to it." I said.
The game goes on even if we are under the heat of the sun. Everyone is enjoying the game. Who would not? It feels so good. The fresh air, the environment and the ambience.
The game ended and our team won. I can't help myself to laugh after seeing Mitch pouted. She keeps on talking that we should let the score at least.
"You are good in volleyball Cam, are you a player?" Viper said. She is good too. I know she's playing this game also. She is the team captain after all.
"Yeah, since seventh grade. I am part of the varsity." I answered honestly. We've been competing for nationals but unfortunately we were not able to make it until international game.
"See! We should not let them be in the same team again. They are pro!" Mitch exclaimed. She even pouted her lips. It is cute if her.
"You are just hungry twin." Hytham said and put a pork chop in her mouth that made us laugh. Mitch gave her twin brother a death glare and throw her slipper on his face but Hytham easily dodged it.
"I think we should do this often." Alliah suggested. And I definitely agree with her.
"Yes girl, seconded. It feels good to unwind you know." Mitch seconded. She is now eating the pork chop that her twin brother put in her mouth.
"Would you still want to return in Manila Cam?" Out of the blue, Hytham asked. Everybody averted their eyes on me. They are waiting for my answer.
"Yes. I will only spent two years here. But don't worry, I will visit you here often." I said. "You look all sad. Come on, we came here to enjoy didn't we?" I said because the atmosphere became glowing.
"Right! Let's eat more!" Thelonious said and picked another spring rolls. I think he is the only one who could finish the spring rolls. I have not tasked it yet.
“Yaaaahhhhh! You eat too much of it. You left us nothing!” Mitch yelled at Thelonious. She even hit his nose using a spoon.
“And you also eat too much of pork chop! I have not tasked it too.” Thelonious replied and pick one pork chop but Mitch hit him in his hand that is why he dropped the pork chop. The two was like a dog and a cat again. They are always fighting.
After eating, we proceed to the area where we can have a videoke. We will swim maybe later at six o’clock. We are going to do a night swimming. I told my parents that we are going to spend the night here and we are going home maybe late tomorrow. We are going to enjoy this day. They said yes but they requested Nicolai to bring me home tomorrow night. I was about to disagree on the idea since I can just call them to fetch me but Nicolai already agreed. He already promised my family that he will bring me home. So it was settled already.
I looked for one of my favorite songs and enter it on the screen. Backstreet boys is one of my favorite bands and I am fond of listening their music. It gives me a different feeling. It makes me feel relax and pushes my worries ahead.
“Isn’t it As Long as You Love Me is your favorite song if A1, Kade?” Mitch replied. “Why don’t you duet Cam?” She added and even clapped her hands in excitement. She got one of the wireless microphone and give it to Nicolai. And others are cheering to duet the song. Nicolai stand up and ready himself. I also press start so we could start it.

I sing the first two lines of the song while looking at him. I did not break the eye contact and feel the song.

The next two lines was sang by Nicolai. Just like what I did, he didn’t break our eye contact and keep staring each other.

Like what I did earlier, I sang the song with all my hear. I may not receive a single present but seeing them happy is already beyond grateful.

My face turned red when I realized that I stared him for how many minutes already.
