Nadia's pov
"Let go of me!" I yelled at the rogue whose hands were pressing down on my chest keeping me in place on the ground.
"What are you doing in my soil, omega!" He grinned, his teeth Sharp and his eyes filled with unholy desire.
I shivered as he took me in with a lustful gaze.
"This is not your soil rogue and let me go, please."
I begged as I tried to wriggle myself away from his hold failing to even move an inch. He was too strong and the more I tried to move, the more pressure he applied in trying to keep me under him and against the floor.
How had he been able to sense me out?
I wondered. Had he seen me while I was walking through
"Wondering how I found you, aren't you?" He grinned.
"No," I managed to deck him in the neck with my free hands.
He wavered a bit, just enough to give me room to get my wolfsbane gun.
"Move or I'll shoot you." I glared at him.
His eyes widened in shock and then narrowed.
"Don't think I won't do it," I said in a sharp and authoritative voice, even though I was shaking inside like a weak tree branch amidst a storm.
Slowly, he pulled away from me lifting his sordid weight from my body and standing up, his hands in the air in surrender.
"Keep going…" I rose from the ground and he smiled at me, his hands still up in surrender.
"Oh, you stupid b***h. I'm going to enjoy tearing you limb from limb after spreading your legs and plunging my meat inside you" He spat. There was amusement in his both eyes and tone as if he wasn't taking the situation seriously.
"You won't get the chance to. I'll pump you full of wolfsbane before you ever get to me." I spat at him, still pointing the gun at him.
A sinister smile curved his lips as his eye moved away from mine to something behind me.
A branch broke almost at the same time behind me and I glanced back in fear only to find another rogue standing behind me with blood spilling from his mouth.
A shiver ran down my spine at the horrible sight. He looked maniacal. He looked more like a wild wolf than a rogue and that scared me.
I gasped when he took a step towards me and without thinking quickly pointed the gun at him but that was a mistake because the other rogue used that as an opportunity to grab me from behind.
"Gotcha!" He cackled.
I shivered at the feel of his grubby and disgusting hands around my body.
This wasn't good, this wasn't good at all!
"Let me go," I struggled to get out of his tight hold, but It was useless.
"If you don't let me go, I'll shoot your friend."
I threatened. I was grasping at straws here considering the fact that he was stronger than me and could easily take away the gun but I didn't care. Sebastian always used to say.
Use your words to build yourself up first.
In a blur of movements, he captured my hands and managed to grab the hand holding the gun.
"Let go of it you pack w***e!" He growled against my ears, his hand moving to my breast.
"No!" I spat. I refused to go down without a fight.
He pulled me by my hair, forcing me to look up at the sky
I was unable to look anywhere else because of how tightly he held my hair…
"Give it up or I'll pull your hair from your scalp!
"Never!" I yelled and began to shoot randomly…
"You f*****g b***h!"
He bit my neck and the gun fell from my hand as I screamed for help.
"Get her, Killian," the rogue holding me captive yelled and I watched in horror as Killian, the crazed-looking werewolf charged towards me, eyes blazing with hate and hunger.
Something clicked in my head and I realized that the reason he looked weird was because he was probably one of those rogues that practiced cannibalism. I could smell it on him, he'd just eaten one of his kind.
He was barely two feet away from me when he suddenly stopped and fell to his knees as if he'd been shot.
I watched wide-eyed as blood spilled from his mouth and he fell with a thump to the ground.
There was an arrow sticking out of his back. I glanced up to find a man in a Cloak holding a bow and arrow and my eyes widened in horror when he pointed the arrow directly at me and fired.
I shut my eyes, waiting for impact as I realized whoever this newcomer was would not be as merciful but it never came. Instead, I felt the rogue's grip around me loosen and when I opened my eyes, I screamed as I saw two arrows sticking out of his forehead.
"Who are you?" I glanced over at the mysterious man who was now walking towards me, pointing my gun at him.
"That, young lady, should be my line," he said. I couldn't see his face due to the night shadow covering his face but it was clear there was amusement in his voice.
"Come any closer and I'll shoot you. I have wolfsbane in this." I warned him even though I was shivering inside.
I couldn't let him see just how weak I was.
"Well, that won't work on me, my love. I have not survived in these parts by being weak," he said as he continued marching towards me as if I didn't literally have a gun trained at him.
There was something about him that was dark but equally intriguing. His voice was hoarse and deep but also flowery like he he was talking in two different tones simultaneously.
I watched as he neared me and as the moonlight began to shape his face into view.
"Stay back or I am going to shoot," my hands shook as I sensed his intimidating aura near me.
"I told you," he suddenly appeared in front of me as if he'd vanished. "That won't work on me."
He pulled the gun out of my hands in one swift motion that I hadn't even noticed he'd taken the gun until he shook it in my face.
"And you are welcome, darling," He said as his eyes took me in.
"Who…who are you?" I stuttered, my eyes glued to his green orbs.
"A friend." He said and stretched out his hands for me to take.
I gave him a once over, taking in his appearance. He was so tall that my 5'10 height looked tiny next to him.
His eyes and nose were the only visible thing I could see. His entire face was covered with a cloth but I could tell he was a handsome man.
A small fire ignited within my chest and I felt an extraordinary pull to him. His scent filled my nostrils.
Claudia, my wolf rose and growled.
Oh my God. The man was my mate.
