It was the morning of the opening day and everyone was getting the club ready. Victoria arrived after visiting Mike at the police station.

“I swear, dad. I have nothing to hide. Leandro must have hidden them very well and I am not sure where he put them” she lied, and Mike knew that. But the rest of the officers didn’t, and he wanted to keep it that way.
“Very well, I guess you don’t mind if I search your club before you open” he said, leaning against the table and looking straight into her eyes.
“No, go ahead. Just don’t wait too long to search. I have a club to open tonight and I don’t want a repeat of last time. You all scared my patrons big time” she said, standing up and giving Mike a kiss on the cheek before she walked out.
