After trying but failing to convince my Mom against making the 674 kilometre drive from Utah to Nevada and also losing the war against allowing my brother come with,we finally arrived the Silver state.

I alight the car almost same time Faith's parents were packing beside us at the park.

" I can't believe we get to call here home from now on" Faith said while moving to squeeze life out of me in the form of a hug.

"I hope you guys realise we just brought you to school and didn't sell you out,Utah would always be your home. Mrs Brooke said,wiping another tear from her eyes.

"Mom,you just said it yourself, you guys brought us to school,so stop crying like you actually sold us out.

This is why we didnt want you guys to drop us off. Faith replied her mom,stylishly cleaning the tear that threatened to drop from her eyes.

I turned to my Mom just in time to catch her do the swipe with her handkerchief. "You promised Mom.

" Well,its not my fault its awful windy here now is it??? My mom retorted while regaining her power mom poise.

Breaking my own no tears rule,I run to my Mum and hold her while we both let our tears drop. "I will miss you so much Mom.

" Always a princess,Jude snides while carrying as much luggage as he could fit and headed towards the lodge area.

"You know he cried all night right??? i wonder why that boy is always trying to act all macho. My Mum whispered to me as we broke off our hug.

" Its because he knows he has to hold it in for us Mom,i really am proud of my brother. Please dont tell him i said that or I would never hear the end of it .

Two hours later after we found our room (thankful that our plan of staying in the same room wasn't thwarted) and setting our things in order under close watch of our parents who insisted they wanted to watch us unpack before they leave,we finally put the last piece in place at around past 6pm.

"So how would you guys drive home by this time,we told you guys to leave immediately we got here. I asked no one in particular after realizing it was going to be way past midnight before they get back to Utah.

" You don't need to worry your little head,we already thought that out and have everything under control. We already booked a room at a hotel close by. Mrs Brooke replied while giving my Mom and her wife a fulfillment look,happy they took us unaware.

" We decided we would stay the night and enjoy the city before we head back to Utah.

A little girls night out.

"More like ladies night" Jude replied feigning a cough which made us all burst out laughing.

" And jude?? what would he be doing while you guys explore the city? I asked genuinely worried about the amount of boredom he would experience.

" We all need a camera person every once in a while,why do you think I brought him along" my replied while rubbing Jude's hair,causing another round of laughter.

" Don't forget to add the payment part Pauline, we did promise to give him a hundred dollar as payment. Mrs Agatha added, which left both myself and Faith shocked.

Twenty minutes later we walked them to the car,bid them farewell and made our way back to our room,taking in the air,environment and our new found freedom.

"We are going to have soo much fun Faith,I can feel it.i nudged Faith happy that we get to start living our dream.

The next few days went by as fast as Flash and before we knew it,it was Monday.

Thankful of how thoughtful we were in using the last few days to locate our lecture halls,make a few friends and grateful of the Orientation we attended,we were ready for class.

Our first class was pretty interactive, probably because it was mostly introduction to topics and people and by the end of the day,I could say same about the other classes we took.

"I can't wait for Friday, I'm soo excited " Faith mutters excitedly for the 10th time today

" You know it's only just Monday right??I replied feigning nonchalance but failing to hide the excitement in my own voice.

" Omg girl,I cant believe we get to go to the club for the first time,I tell Faith squealing from the joy Friday was already promising.

" Do you think we should invite Mara and Rebecca? or should we just do this ourselves? Faith asked about our new found friends.

"Absolutely, they grew up around here so they would know their way around and could also suggest the best place we could go.

The rest of the week went by uneventful and before we knew it,it was friday morning.

Unable to tell for sure if it was nature or just repercussion of staying up all night making plans for the day,but we ended up waking later than we would normally do.

Grateful of the fact that my hair was always ready to shine and dressing up in the best record breaker time,we were both ready and rushing to class when I accidentally bumped into a rock or pillar or oh wait,a human??

Watch it pretty,you cant go round campus running into people.

Thankful that my things were safely secured inside my bag,I look up to apologise and found myself staring into the eyes of the pillar I ran into.

At what point did I wake up this morning, am I really up or is this another one of my wet dreams and imagination.

" We are so sorry about this,we woke late and we are currently running late. Faith apologised on my behalf clearly obvious of the fact that I lost the words to do so.

With that she tugged at my arm and pulled me towards the lecture hall.

" You will tell me exactly what's going through your head,but for now,we need to hurry or we would be really late.
