Colton had grown up in a group home and never kept up with friends much, since most of his time went to Julie.
Every spare hour he had went to his sister, watching movies and playing video games with her.
So now, when he called around begging for money, people heard him out, hung up, and blocked his number one after another.
By the time he'd worked through the whole list, he'd solved nothing at all.
Julie got tired of waiting and came right out with it. "Where's Monica's money? Pull it out already, or what are we supposed to do?"
