She led Melena through a long hallway before stopping in front of a pair of glass doors. Pushing them open, she gestured inside.
"This is the research laboratory."
Melena stepped inside and stopped to take it all in.
The laboratory was twice the size of the one she had worked in at Levy. Rows of state-of-the-art equipment gleamed beneath the bright lights. Gene sequencers, high-powered microscopes, refrigerated sample storage units, and machines she had only ever seen in medical journals filled the spacious room.
She hated Zane Rider, but she had to admit he spared no expense when it came to research.
Three people looked up from their work as they entered.
Catherine smiled politely. "Everyone, this is Doctor Melena Roland, your new team leader."
