Melena was halfway down the corridor toward the lab when she spotted Hazel hurrying toward her. Her short brown hair was slightly messy, and she looked as though she'd been searching the entire building. "There you are!" Hazel let out a relieved breath. "Tina said you never came to the lab today. Where have you been?" Melena adjusted the strap of her handbag and sighed. "You wouldn't believe the morning I've had." She rubbed her forehead.
