After talking to Sofia, Bruno packed his belongings at the clinic to finish his preparations for the trip and placed them in his bag. He then left for Lisbon, saying goodbye to Sofia. When all the preparations were finished, he would come and take Sofia with him and the clinic would be closed for a while.
Bruno sailed to the Port of Almeria first in a horse-drawn vehicle early that morning. Captain Garcia was waiting for him there. The two met at a dining hall on the beach. Important meetings in the Middle Ages were usually held in the large and magnificent buildings of cities and in the meeting rooms which were also used as dining halls. Garcia had two men with him, and he seemed to have arranged for the rest of the
