CLARA'S POV.
My eyes widened at Leon's words. "But, Leon-"
"I can't leave you alone after receiving a threat like this," he cut in quickly. "I don't care even if you refuse. I'll still stay here."
I let out a long sigh. I knew Leon wouldn't back down from his decision. And in a way, I did feel calmer if I had someone to accompany me tonight. But why Leon? If there was Kevin, I'd rather have him here with me than Leon.
"Alright," I said finally. "But only tonight, Leon."
Leon smiled and grinned. "We'll see."
I averted my eyes, not wanting to show that I was actually quite relieved by his presence.
"Tomorrow you have to come to campus with me," Leon said.
