CLARA'S POV. Night fell. Since this afternoon, I had been confined to my room. Several times my mom knocked on the door and persuaded me to have lunch. "Come on, honey. I'm sorry for what I said. I just want what's best for you." I didn't want to listen to anything. I was already disappointed with mom's attitude.
