The lunas pain

Chapter 2

Luna Gemma and beta female Lisa walked in. 

" You stupid clumsy b***h" screached the Luna. She slapped me hard across my cheek. 

A look of concentration came across her face, I knew what that meant she had mindlinked with someone, I'm guessing the alpha. I heard loud loud footsteps coming up the stairs. Alpha Lee was coming... 

Alpha Lee walked into the room, he was 6.4" of pure muscle and he was angry. 

"You useless f*****g mutt" he screamed at me spittle shooting out of his mouth "that was a gift from my mother". 

He punched me in the face so hard that I fell to the floor, I could feel my face swelling and my left eye closing. 

He started started to kick and punch me whilst yelling about what a stupid useless i***t I was, ugly and dumb. How no one could ever love me. How even my mate would be disgusted by me. 

I hoped I never met my mate, I couldn't stand another rejection. Couldn't stand the look of disgust from someone that is meant to love you. 

I felt a rib break, the pain was unbelievable, then I felt my arm snap as he had stomped on it. I whimpered from the pain and from the fear that this time he might actually kill me (even though I hated my life, for some reason I didn't want to die. It was like something was holding me here). 

Black dots started to float in front of my eyes from the pain I was in. I could hear the women laughing when they heard me whimper. 

"That's right whimper little b***h" taunted the alpha. I realised he had stopped hitting me. 

He grabbed my hair and lifted my head so I was looking at him"dont think this gets you out of cleaning. I expect the house to be clean and food ready on time"

He let go of my hair and spat at me, he was about to walk out when he suddenly stopped. I looked at him afraid that the beating was about to start again, but I could see he had a look of concentration on his face so someone must be mindlinking with him. 

He turned to the luna and beta female " rogues are attacking, get to the safe house quickly, I'm going to the border" he rushed out of the room closely followed by the two women. 

They had forgotten I was there or didn't care that I was laying injured and bleeding on the floor. 

Then it suddenly hit me I wasn't being guarded, no one would be in the house. Everyone would be fighting the rogues or in the safe house. This was my chance to finally escape. But did I have enough strength left to do it. 

I would need to be quick, who knows when the attack could end. Could I make it out with all the injuries I had just sustained from that beating from the alpha. 

I had to try because if I didn't I would I knew one of his beatings would kill me one day, or even worse I would lose whatever was left of myself and become just a broken shell. At least I was still me and still had midnight, at least I hadn't completely broke. 

I was going to do it, no matter what, even if I died trying I was going to get out of here.
