Hearing Vows

CHAPTER 6

I went to the office and gave assignments to my employees incharge of the nearest wedding of the month.

For this month there's 2 weddings and I had it all planned and prepared by my employees.

I also had to check their designs and preparation and also check with the bride and groom if they still want to add anything or change anything.

I do it every week. 2 weeks before the wedding.

Yvonne helped me review the preparations as I sign most of the stuffs.

"You looked troubled ma'am, are you expecting someone?"-Yvonne

It seems she noticed me taking glances on the office door

" N-no, I was just checking if it was locked"-I lied

I really was hoping to see Vance Coopers face smiling ear to ear about his girlfriend.

We continued and had lunch.

After all of that I had Yvonne prepare a celebration party at the end of the week for the group assigned to the first wedding of the month.

"Okay ma'am, I'll send you some venues and themes for the party. And have it organized before the day of the party"-Yvonne and we smiled at each other

" Thanks Yvonne, your a big help"-I stated and Drove my car away.

I'm not totally exhausted today so I decided to go for some walk.

I drove to the park near my condominium building and brought some foods with me.

I sat at one of the benches and ate my burger.

As I was watching from afar I saw two older couples playing with their daughter.

I remembered mama and papa so I called them

"Hello? Mama how are you?"-I greeted and heard papa on the line

" Claire, were enjoying it here. How about you? Still too busy?"-Mama

"Don't forget to take care of yourself dear"-Papa's old voice echoed.

" I don't papa, it is still busy mama. When will you two get back?"-I asked

"Oh, do you miss us already Claire"-Mama and she laughed.
