Slowly, Sanam began to adjust herself in her new life. Her days mainly spent in studies and caring for her uncle. She loved talking to him, often they strolled together in the evening and afterwards she prepared his favorite tea. She also cooked, whatever little dishes she knew for him. He was nothing short of an angel to her. He had saved her from a dreadful life in the orphanage and gave her a safe roof and food for her tummy. So whatever she does for him, would never be enough to repay his kindness.
Shamsher Khan, also found a daughter in her. He still remember the promise he made to his deceased friend. They had decided to marry their kids, to strengthen their relationship and business. Now that, he was gone, his daughter was entitled to his share in the company. But she need to turn 18 before, he could hand over the responsibilities or even begin explaining her the intricate details. So he was waiting for a right time before he could hand over her rightful place to her.
Sanam was a responsible and level headed girl, he had no doubts that she would be a perfect choice when the time comes, both for his family and business.
But what he was worried about was, his own unruly son. His anger issues have scaled a new height these days and the company which he kept, was giving him grey hair, at a very fast pace.
Ibrahim was his only heir and a brilliant businessman at such a young age, but the ruthlessness, which he showed had worried him alot. And it was only worsening with the passing time. The way he dealt with his opponents, he doubted if he had an element of kindness and mercy within himself. He didn't remember when was the last time, he had actually smiled at him or they had a pleasant talk. Things were deteriorating between them and that made him more tensed.
He had stopped listening to him long time back, and the number of girlfriends he changed were more then the number of clothes he owned. He wasn't sure if he was into drugs as well, but the complaints against were increasing on day to day basis. Although he retired from business a few years back, but he still had eyes and ears in his company.
Ibrahim, was managing it with an iron hand and it pained him. He and his dear friend had built up this company with their sweat and blood. They had nurtured it with love and passion, taking it to the level where it was today. He wasn't able to understand the reason of his son's anger and rudeness. Did he fail as a father ?
Believing marriage as a feasible solution, he wanted him to get married to her on ASAP basis. But the girl wasn't ready yet, she looked scared of him. Everytime Ibrahim comes home, she try to escape and hide herself in her room.
He had planned that soon after she turns twenty one, he would introduce her into the company. And would also proceed towards their alliance.
Shamsher Khan wanted his son to be aware of his responsibilities, especially that of Sanam. Also he wanted them to know each other, before they actually are bound to each other. Although he tried his best to get them closer to each other, but to no avail.
He was also worried about the young girl, as he didn't want that kind and innocent soul to suffer in his son's hands. He ways kept an eye on his behaviour with her or if he had hurt her in any way. But so far, he had only noticed Ibrahim's reluctance towards her.
After much contemplation he decided to break the news to both of them at the dinner table one day, when all his measures failed to bring them closer.
'Ibrahim, Sanam I have an important announcement to make', he said while gaining their attention.
They both raised their heads from their respective plates and looked at him.
'Sanam's father and I, planned to get you both married when the time comes. Now that you both are adults, I want to know your thoughts about it ', he completed.
Ibrahim, shocked, hit the dining table with his fist,' Dad, is this a joke?'
'No, I am very serious. You ARE getting married', his father replied, he was prepared for his tantrums.
'I am not marrying her. AT ANY COST ', He spat on her face and angrily left from there, kicking at the chair in his way.
He angrily left through the main door, without even looking back at her tearful eyes or his fuming father. He needed some fresh air, away from her !! He hated that girl. Ever since she came into their lives, his father was getting on his nerves, trying to stick her to him. And today, he had crossed all limits, by making that announcement.
'How could he think that I would marry her !! She wasn't even fit enough to be my maid, let alone my wife !!', He scoffed and drove away.
Sanam, on the other hand, the least she could do was to agree to her uncles wishes. Well, it was just marriage, even if he had asked for her life, she wouldn't have shyed away. Her gratefulness for him ran too deep. Another important fact to consider was she had practically nowhere else to go.
They were all she had now!
Well, she wasn't exactly dying to marry him, but experiencing the hardships of life from a tender age, she knew the importance of a safe house, and enough food, more than any of her peers. And that was a huge influencer on her decision to agree to this proposal.
But still, the rejection hurt !
During the evening, she went for her regular stroll in the garden. She was slowly walking and enjoying the beautiful view around her, when suddenly she found him standing in front of her, blocking her way.
His brooding gaze and smoke filled aura overwhelmed her. Her heart suddenly picked up the pace and her throat began to dry. She decided to leave, and turned quickly on her heels, it was when he spoke.
'STOP!', He shouted.
Her heart was beating ever faster than before and thin beads of sweat broke out. She offered silent prayers and turned to face him.
His face was stern and jaw clenched, his eyes infinite rage towards her.
'Refuse from this marriage ', he commanded her, while folding his arms over his chest.
'I..I can not', she stammered in fear and looked down, unable to withstand his intense gaze.
He raised an eyebrow at her,' Why? Are you desperate to marry me?'
'I cannot refuse uncle and also I don't have anywhere else to go ', with a lowered head, she replied innocently.
'Listen, that's not my problem and secondly, I don't like you', he said, already bored of this conversation.
'Why?', suddenly she looked up and asked him.
He wasn't expecting this question from her, he just thought she would accept it as her fate and leave.
'I just don't like you', unable to come up with a suitable reply, he reinforced his words, louder this time.
'Oh', she lowered her head. She decided to leave and began walking away from him. She has already had enough humiliation for the day.
'What can I do, so that you start liking me ?', suddenly she stopped and asked him with her wide green eyes.
He wasn't really prepared for this conversation apparently and he began realising it soon.
'Nothing, you could do nothing to change my mind ', he flatly stated and began to leave.
'I would obey you all the time, I would do all your work, I would cook for you. I would be the best wife, you could ever have ', she quickly said and looked hopefully at him, maybe he would change his mind.
At that moment all she wanted was some sort of agreement of permanency. She didn't want to return back to the orphanage or her aunt, at any cost, for that matter.
'Really ?', he halted and turned back to look at her. This was getting interesting. He smiled dangerously and assessed her from top to bottom.
'Yes', she assured him quickly.
'What if you didn't live up to my expectations?', he asked, taking out a cigarette and lightening it. He wanted to see how far she could go.
'Trust me..I would do my best, I will never make you angry and would always follow your words', she again assured him with her wide, beautiful eyes. They held innocence and sincerity in them.
But all he could focus upon was her pouty lips and her rising chest, she was moving her hands trying to put her point across.
'Well, Let me see for a month whether you are able to deliver on your promises or not. And if I don't see you fit, it would be YOU to refuse for this marriage, Understand??', he told her.
His girlfriend of few weeks had just broken up with him last night. He was free and he needed someone to play with. It was her turn apparently, he thought and smiled.
'Ok..I agree ', she agreed. She made a resolve then and there that she would definetly live upto the mark and would try her best to earn his affections.
She was about to leave from there, when he stopped her by grabbing her elbow, ' where do you think you are going?'
'I...I...room', she stammered. His hold was tight over her soft arm.
'Didn't you just say, you would obey me? Let's test that ', he said with a smirk.
'Yes, What do you want me to do for you?', she asked sincerely, her elbow was still in his grip.
'Show me your boobs ', he said, while he pulled her towards him.
She was taken aback by his statement and a soft gasp left her mouth. How could he say that to her? She thought and tried to pull her elbow away from his hold, but he wasn't willing to leave her.
She looked into his eyes, they had no emotions, just lust and anger. She again tried to pull, but he tightened his hold and pulled her more towards himself.
'So here goes your bullshit', he spat and with a jerk, he pushed her away from himself.
She stood there recalling his words, and remembering what was at stake, she slowly began to open her shirt.
While he stood there, just observing her actions. He hadn't expected her to be so desperate into marry him. He had no intentions of seeing her boney cage for a chest. He was sure that she would never do it and he could use it as a leverage against her.
But shortly after, she stood there naked on the top, with her plump breasts exposed for him. She lowered her eyes in shame and let him see her assets which were still developing.
He stood there shocked, she was nothing he had imagined her to be. Her breasts were a perfect round and fuller, as compared to the rest of her body. None of his past girlfriends, had this perfection. Her perky, pink n*****s were just like a cherry on top. He gulped and ran his fingers through his hair. His trousers became tight and he moistened his lips with his tongue.
She quickly closed off her shirt and began closing the buttons out of embarrassment, her eyes were already moist. She didn't realize when he moved closer to her.
'Will you marry me now?', she asked him innocently and found him closer then expected.
' We still have a month to go ', he said in a thick voice.
A foreign feeling sat in his heart and he quickly turned away from her, fearful of what he might do.
