After learning about the rouge attacks the weekend went by.  I took on Alpha duties and created a patrol list with Zelda & Jace.  With those two love birds I was shocked any work got done on their part.  Alister and Gannon have left to go help out the surrounding packs for a little while.  I myself have been focused on protecting the pack that I haven't even taken a moment to hang out with anyone. I have been coped up in my office doing paperwork, making sure patrols are covered, and running patrols myself. But now its Monday and I am so ready to head back to school and go back to some normalcy. I never thought I would be happy pulling into the school parking lot and seeing everyone. 

“You need to hurry up and turn 18 and find your mate so I’m not stuck alone with the lovers anymore.” I hugged Echo when I got to our lockers and she was pulling her books out. “I missed you too” She hugged me back and laughed.  “What class do you have first?” I got books out of my locker and headed towards math.  “I have math with you, but you wouldn’t know that since this is the period your usually with Asher.”  She linked her arm in mine and we walked to class. 

Mr. Finnick was surprised to see me as I headed back to the back row to take my sea next to Lincoln.  I looked around the class room for a reason I don’t know why but my eyes fell on the empty seat up front next to, I paused I couldn’t remember their names but I knew they hung out with geek.  Speaking of him where was he?  I looked at the clock and I wasn’t like him to be late.  Class started and finished and still no sign of geek. 

“Where is he?”  His friends looked me like I had 2 heads.  “Alpha, who are you talking about?”  One of them answered me, I think his name is Harley.  “Geek, where is he?  1st period is done and he isn’t here. Hes never late for anything.”  I let out a little growl getting frustrated with them playing stupid. Who else could I be talking about.  “His mom took him on a short vacation for his birthday, they left Saturday morning.”  Clark said as he went to walk by me as the bell rang signaling, the next class.  “Well why didn’t he answer my text the other night?”  I followed them.  “Well, you were never really friends to begin with Alpha.”  Harley walked into the class and Clark followed.  

I sat there for a minute and was just speechless.   Why do I care where he is?  I walked into the class room and sat down. “What's going on in that sexy head of yours?” Asher scooted his desk closer to mine and put his hand on my thigh and slowly moved it up as he kissed my neck. “Oh, huh?  Nothing”,  I let out a slight moan and tilted my neck giving him better access.  He nibbled at my neck, as he slid a finger underneath my panties and inside my folds and slowly moved in and out as he focused towards the front of the room. I stiffled my moans and focused on the lesson. 

Wesley’s P.O.V 

I sat there and thought over and over again about the events of the weekend  

Wesley: Anakin? Are you there? Hello? For once will you be there for me like you're supposed to be!”  I growled with no answer from my wolf. 

I couldn’t shift at 16 like everyone else and the pack doctor said it may be pushed back and said I should shift by my 18th birthday. Well my mom, my step-father and Jace were all here Friday night/ Saturday morning for my shift and nothing happened.  Last time I talked to my wolf was at the club when he said “I’d understand soon”, understand what I wanted answers.  I got my homework for the week not wanting to show my face back at school.   It was bad enough when everyone knew I didn’t get my wolf or shift at 16, but this time it's only Alpha Alyx, my family and the guys.  

My phone chimed 

Clark: Alarielle is asking about u. 

Wesley: y? 

Clark: I have no clue, came up to Harley & I after class cause u were missing.  Asked y u were missing class.  

Wesley:  What did u tell her? 

Clark: That ur mom took u on vacation for ur birthday. 

Wesley: k good keep it that way. Ttyl 

Clark: Clark: No problem she seems distracted now anyway ‍♂️

I put my phone down and went downstairs to get something to eat.  I opened the fridge and got this really sharp pain in my gut.  I growled; yes stomach I know I’m getting something to eat.  

Anakin: MATE 

Wesley: What? No one is here you stupid wolf. You decide to come out now with same non sense about a mate when I am the only one home.  What about my earlier questions about shifting? 

Anakin: Soon. 

He retreated back to his hole; I got a defective wolf.  I grabbed my sandwich and sat down on the couch to watch tv.  Hopefully soon is really soon because I want to go back to school. 

Alarielle P.O.V 

After school I had patrol watch with Echo. At 7 pm when we got back to the packhouse I sat down to do my homework.  “Who are you and what have you done with Alarielle?” Zelda walked into the den and sat down next to me. I looked at her confused, “What are you talking about?”  She pointed to my homework, “You're doing your homework, even without geek here.”   

I looked down and my mind instantly pulled to him, I took out my phone and sent him a text.  

Alarielle: Hey geek. Hope ur having fun on ur vacation. When do u come back? 

I got no answer, he must be busy.  But for some reason Belle was acting weird.  

Alarielle: What's wrong with you Belle? 

Weird she didn’t answer me she just whimpered.  Since when did Belle whimper?  Maybe she’ll be back to her normal self in a few days since I turn 18 and she may find her mate.
