Chapter Thirteen Grizzalds The journey to Chemmy’s palatial mansion would take a little longer as she had to take the long route, around two days in total. She spied another forest where the road veered off to the left, making her deduce that the woods would be a perfect shortcut. On entering the forest, the path became very overgrown in places with nettles, bracken and ferns. Drawing her sword, she hacked at anything in her way, but as she progressed, she had a horrible feeling she wasn’t alone. From the corner of her eye, she was sure something had moved in the bracken to her left, but when she looked again, she saw nothing. Then the sound of rustling bushes made her look sharply to her right. It couldn’t have been the wind as there was none, could be a rabbit maybe? Or a deer perhaps
