I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. My body had gone hot all over, my thighs shaking where they pressed tight together.
Then, with a slow, daring move, he hooked his finger under the fabric and slipped it aside.
“Alex…!” I gasped, my whole body jerking. I gripped the chair so hard my knuckles went white, my chest heaving.
