Ella's POV;

After school finishes I rush up to Mattie's office.

I hear voices in there so I stop to listen.

I know I shouldn't but I couldn't help it, I've always let my curiosity get the better of me.

I hear Mattie's voice and another male voice, which I think is Joe.

"Well done for trying today Joe, I'm proud of you," Mattie tells him.

"Eh, no need to thank me, I only tried for you," Joe replies.

Aw they have such a cute relationship.

"Well I'm glad you did, and I'm glad you've already made friends,"

"So am I, Ella is well hot, and she's so funny as well, I can't believe she tripped and threw her water over that other girl, I bet that was hilarious to see." Joe says.

Oh god Joe thinks I'm hot. lol.

"Hm. Well Ella is a character," I can just tell he's smirking right now.

"I can't wait to get to know her more, she's totally girlfriend material," He says and I try so hard not to burst into laughter. Not because of what Joe said, but because I can just sense how awkward Mattie must be feeling.

"Yes, well you should be focusing on your education, not girls. Anyway Ella will be here any minute for her tutoring, so you best go now, I'll come look at your new apartment when I'm finished here," He tells him.

"Okay, see you later bro," Joe says and I knock on the door quickly.

Joe opens it and smiles.

"Ella, hi!" He greets me.

"Hey Joe!" I reply.

"Hey listen, if you're not busy after you're done here, did you wanna come to mine after? Nothing dodgy I swear, I just really need help with the Business Studies homework and I noticed you're good at that," He smiles.

I look behind him to see Mattie raising one of his eyebrows at me.

Could things be anymore awkward?

"Oh shoot tonight? I'm not really sure I'll have enough time, you see-"

"Pleassseee Ella? You were the one who was most genuine with me today, I mean so were the guys, but you've helped me a lot today and showed me the ropes, and I just really need help," He pleads.

This is Mattie's fault, he was the one who told me to look after Joe and that's exactly what I'm doing. Plus I do really like Joe, he's funny and he's already part of the group as the guys love him too.

"Okay, but I can't be long," I say.

"Thanks El, see you later," He smiles before leaving.

I sheepishly step into Mattie's office and close the door.

"Care to explain what that was?" He smiles, but its a sarcastic smile.

"That was me being a friend to your brother, who you were the one who told me to keep him in line by the way, which at the moment is going swimmingly," I give him a sarcastic smile back.

"Well he wants to get to know you because he said, and I quote, you're "girlfriend material"." He says and his jaw clenches.

"No need to get all jealous Sir," I smirk.

"Come here," He says, his eyes never leaving mine.

I get up walk over to him, he grabs my hips and pulls me onto him so I'm straddling him.

"I'm very jealous, because you're mine. I don't like the thought of anyone touching you the way I do, even if it is my own brother, I don't like sharing what's mine," He says, his voice raspy.

Holy f**k, this man will be the death of me.

"You don't have to share me, I'm all yours, trust me," I say softly and he doesn't reply.

"You don't trust me?" I ask.

"No baby, of course I trust you, it's just everyone else I don't trust. I mean you're beautiful, so other boys will be attracted to you, and its them I don't trust," He grits his teeth. "A lot of boys are attracted to you," He sighs, and I laugh.

"What's so funny?" He glares at me.

"It's just no boys are attracted to me silly, your brother may be, but he doesn't know me," I reply.

"Wow. You really think just my brother likes you?" His eyes widen.

I give him a confused look and he laughs.

"My sweet Ella, you're so oblivious. My brother is not the only one who's attracted to you, there's Nate and Donte as well," He tells me and I furrow my brows.

"No, Nate only wants to be friends with benefits, and Donte's not even talking to me at the moment," I tell him.

"Did Nate tell you he just wants to be friends with benefits with you?" He asks me and I nod.

"Yeah, after we - well the night after the party, I pulled him aside and told him that it was just fun and I didn't want it to ruin our friendship and he was totally cool with that," I say.

"Well how comes I overheard him and Donte arguing because they both liked you?" He says and I swear my eyes nearly pop out my head.

"Wait.. They like me?"

"Well that's what I said, yes."

"That's why Donte's pissed with me, because Nate wanted me to go with him, and Donte wanted me to go with him," I put my head in my hands.

"Look, you have nothing to worry about okay? If I wanted to be with them I would be, I wouldn't be sneaking around with you all the time if I didn't want to, just chill okay? Like I said, I'm all yours," I soothe him before gently kissing him.

"I'm sorry, its just everyone who makes me happy eventually leaves me, and even though I'm a grown man, I can be vulnerable at times," He mumbles.

He just needs to be reassured, that's all.

"Don't be sorry, and well there's no way I'm leaving you okay?" I say and he smiles whilst nodding.

"Next it will be Blake who fancies you," He grins and I laugh.

"Oh no, Blake's in love with Jade. Plus when we were like 15, everyone told us we would eventually fall in love with each other because most girls and boys that are best friends do, so we kissed each other to see what happened and we hated it," I smirked.

"You're crazy. Hey, can I ask you a question?" He asks.

"Of course you can,"

"It wasn't Nate who took your virginity, was it?"

"Oh gosh no," I say and he nods.

"Good. Then who did?" He asks and I laugh.

"Blake,"

"But you just said you didn't like each other in that way?" He laughs.

"We don't but we took each others because that way it would be for definite that someone we loved took it. I don't love Blake in a boyfriend way, but I love him in a best friend way so at least it wasn't taken by some dickhead," I say and he nods.

"True, that was actually a smart idea in a messed up way of course," He grins.

"Why thank you," I smirk.

"Anyways, we better be off to my brothers," He says and I give him a strange look.

"We?"

"Yes, I told him I would come see his new apartment after our session, is that a problem?" He asks.

"No no, I guess it just means I'll have to seduce him another time," I smirk.

"I'm so tempted to bend you over this desk and smack your bum," He tells me.

"Okay Christian, calm down," I say and he laughs because he gets my reference.

"I'll race you to Joe's," I say.

"Game on," He smirks.
