Gabriel blinked at Ingrid and stared at Dasha then he shook his head. He held my hand.
"Promise me, you will teleport away from here when trouble comes?" He pleaded.
I swallowed and imagined my nose bleeding and thought about the bad things that could happen to our baby. I sighed and responded, "I promise!"
He kissed my lips and forehead. He walked out and did not look back. They would probably take the helicopter for Akihiro. I did not check Akihiro’s profile at the archives. I guess I was more concerned about living in the present than checking their past. I realized that you did not have to know everything about a person to treat them with respect.
