Suzanna’s POV

‘’Thank you ….Thank you ,for creating time to check on me .I lost my ways because I stopped being your friend ..pardon me for getting myself into this mess ‘’ Helena said while sobbing.

I smiled whils tears also rolled from my eyes.

‘’You shouldn’t blame yourself for that ‘’ It’s never a bad thing to get a baby at a tender age .You should be grateful for this …babe .At this point ,I believe you have learned a lot.’’ I responded.

‘’Yes.’’ She shrunk her eyes.

We smiled with a sad look.

However, the door got opened.

Hence, I turned back and looked who was right at the door.

Thus, it was the African American woman that I met earlier.

She walked closer to us and fowned her face a bit.

‘’You have overstayed your time her. You need to go home.’’She said whilst frowning her face.

I looked at her with dismay.

I couldn’t give replies to what she said .Since I know the rules that guide the maternity centre of the school.

I looked at Helena who had already filled her eye sockets with tears.

I wondered what might be passing through her mind .

I felt so emotional at that moment.

I loked at her in the eyeballs.

I could possibly see he way I looked sad in her pupil,

I knew she never wanted to go home this way.

So ,I tought of keeping her safe at my side ,since I’m living alone .

My parents were not in the country .They have been out of the country when I was 17.

Apparently,they have been away for a year because Im 18 NOW.

So,I was staying all alone since I’m way out of my teenage.

‘’Would you mind staying at my side pending the time you deliver your baby ‘’I asked politely and waited for her response.

She widened her eyes as I said those words ,she never thought I could take herr into my apartment just like that.

She nodded her head slightly.

‘’Yes..Yes ‘’ she stammered.

She lt her face with a smile .

Thus, she hugged me passionately.

The African American woman also lit her face with a smile.

I believe she never thought someone like me could take in Helena.

Helena’s heart was filled up with joy.

Her pregnancy has lasted for 5 months , abruptly her parents haven’t been informed.

The African American woman was the one that has been covering her up.

I stood up from the bd , and helped her arrange her items of luggage.

The African American woman moved closer to Helena and helped her get on her feet.

I hurriedly arranged her items of luggage and joined the woman so that Helena would be able to get support to walk so well.

I stood beside her while the African American woman also stood at the other side.

I lowered myself a bit t the ground so that I can carry Helena’s luggage alongside.

Hence, I placed her arm across my shulder , so that the woman and I could walk her ot of the maternity center,

Although , it wasn’t as if she couldn’t just walk so fine on her own , but supporting her was the best option for me that moment because I wasn’t that used to pregnant people.

We walked her to the door and proceded to the enrance door,

On getting there, we sight a taxi that dropped someone closer to the maternity center.

‘’Taxi’’ I yelled.

Abruptly, the cab man heard me , so I drove close to the maternity center , where we could easily get to the car,

We continue walking Helena to the car.

Thus we reached the car so Helena managed to get home alone..

‘’I’m truly grateful for all the things you have done for her, ma’am.’’ I acknowledged the African American woman’s effort.

She smiled and nodded her head for a response .

I walked off before her and entered the car through the other side of the door.

The cab man drove out of the school and headed towards my home.

This would be the first time I would return home after I have left home for school since the beginning of the year.

No one cares anyway, since my parents are out of the country.

Helena stayed at my home till she delivered her baby.

Although I never stayed with her all through the days, I always returned home during the weekends so that I could keep her company.

She returned home after her delivery because her parents has been filled up with eagerness to know her whereabouts since the news of her pregnancy saga late reached them and her temporary expulsion from school.

That was how we departed and we were unable to reach each other again.

Not long enough her father flies her out of Boston to Ediburgh, UK.

I believe she would have a better stay over there.

After so many year m she returned to Boston and tried to find me.

She goes to several places that we have been to when we were still together, but she couldn’t reach me not until we surprisingly ,met at a shoping mall , at the heart of Boston.

She was so happy to see me ,likewise. I abruptly felt dejected because she had aleady had her second chld while I haven’t convinced for so many years of being in a marriage.

She narrated how she had been struggling to see me when she arrives from Ediburgh.

We spent sometime together at the shoping mall before Peter showed up to pick me.

I introduced both of them to each other.

Helena was so happy to know Peter.

I believe she got stunned to see how handsome Peter was.

We continued our friendship from here we stopped. So we were inti each other again.

After she had stayed alone in Boston for a few years, her English man decided to join her.

They hoped to spend the rest of their life here in Boston with their children.
