Chapter five

……Present Day,continues….

Authors POV

Suzanna and Helena sat on the same cushion while Helena’s children played around in the living room.

Suzanna’s baby was also with Helena.

They both shared wordsm not until Helena asked about Peter’s whereabouts.

‘’She had a terrible night ,so he still in bed ,’’ Suzanna responded.

Helena looked at the was clock and sees that the time of the day was 11.45AM.

Almoat getting to noon.

She opened her mouth a bit and thought of what might actually happen during the night that would make him sleep till this time.

Her mind flung to what Suzanna said about the time she delivered her baby,so she took it as a reason why he would still be in bed.

Suzanna noticed her state of disbelief .So she smiled.

‘’He should be awake by now .I will be right back.’’ She yanked off from the chair and walked swiftly to their room.

Thus she got there and realized that Peter was still sleeping.

She smiled sheepishly as she heard him snoring

Peter hasn’t been awake.

She oved closer to the ebd and crawled to bim .

She kissed him on his forehead.

‘’Honey,it’s morning already. Wake up.’’ She said while wrapping herself to him.

She folded her arms across his belly and placed her head on his chest.

Peter opened his eyes so wide and exhaled as if he was in a battleground in his sleep.

Suzanna raised her head off his chest, and she noticed that he was awake.

‘’Happy Halloween ,baby.’ ’she speaks.

Peter’s POV

I adjusted myself on the bed and leaned my back on the wooden extension of the bed to the wall.

I couldn’t believe the night has ended.

I moved Suzanna closer to myself and kissed her passionately.

We spent some moments ,whilst our lips were still locked together.

Occassionally, I stopped the kiss when I heard a scream from the sitting room.

I jumped out of the bed and rushed out of the room.

I reached the sitting room and met Suzanna standing close to the entrance door.

I was so surprised to see her.

I looked at her and realized that something is wrong with her.

She was putting on an uforgiving look.

Suzanna also moved out of te room and walked close to her.

‘’What is wrong with you, Helena.’’ Theresa asked.

I stand on a spot and set my gaze on both of them.

I was on set to hear what Helena would say.

She lowered her gaze and raises her index finger to the air.

Unfortunately,blood was dripping from it.

Subsequently, my baby started crying.

She was placed on a cushion.

I rushed to her ad carried her to my shoulder.

Suzanna got shocked as she sees blood on Helena’s hand.

She walked closer to her.

‘’How on earth do you get a cut’’ She asked her.

Helena couldn’t say a word .She was panting at the same time looking at my baby.

I traced her gaze to my baby.So, I looked at my daughter’s mouth and sees blood at the end of her mouth.

I never wanted to believe what just crawled into my mind.

‘’Alexis bit me, and tried to rip my finger off my hand.’’

Suzanna finally speaks , whilst she never stops panting.

I opened my eyes so wide.

‘’Who is Alexis , Could it be my daughter’s name.’’I asked myself.

‘’How would she do this for you, Suzanna. She is just some hours old baby .she is still toothless.’’Suzanna spilled.

She was trying to defend our daughter.

I couldn’t say a word because, of what I experienced yesternight.

Right from the time of her birth, I knew something wasn’t right.

I adjusted my daughter’s head so that I could check her mouth ,maybe she had grown teeth to the extent of bitten someone.

I opened her mouth a bit m with my fingers .

Surprisingly , four long teeth in form of fangs grown out.

I was so shocked to see those teeth in her mouth.

Helena noticed the kind of expression I put on. So, she moved closer to me , with her finger in the air.

‘’She has grown teeth right’’ She asked me.

I shook my head.

‘’She cant have that for now ‘’I said smilling .

Suzanna walked up to me.

She carried her daughter from me.

I wondered why she did that anyway.

‘’You shouldn’t accuse my daughter of what she can’t do.’’ Suzanna speaks with a bony face.

Helena frowned her face.

I guess se would be angry by now.

‘’Suzanna, I’m not trying to frame lies on your daughter. She bit me for real. How would I get cut when I’m not toying with a knife’’ Helena spilled. I can't even begin to lie about this to you. I mean she is a baby , I can't lie on her and impose false accusations on her am not the evil and you know it.
