Chapter 7

MYRA’S POV

I woke up at 4:00 AM. I know it is early but I like waking up at 4. I stretched my body and I felt somethings were touching me. I woke up to see all my books and pencils scattered around.

'I will pack these up later' I thought and went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I took a nice long hot shower and went into the closet to get dressed. I wore a blue churidar and silver heels.

As I was packing my school bag I realized that Kiaan is not in the room. 'Did he come home after I slept' I thought. I hope he did come back.

I went to the pooja room downstairs to pray. I did my prayers and went into the kitchen to cook breakfast.

Soon it was 6AM and everybody came down except for Kiaan.

"Beta, you are up already," said maa.

"Yes Maa, I woke up early since I was excited for my first day of school," I said.

"Okay, I will go fresh up," said maa with a smile on her face.

I nodded and went to set the breakfast while everyone went to do their morning chores. Just then Kiaan came downstairs.

"Hi," I said with a smile on my face. I am done with him treating me this way. Something must have happened for him to act this way with me. Even if he is mean to me, I will still love him since he is my husband.

"SERVE ME BREAKFAST" he shouted with an angry expression on his face. Looking at his face I was scared but I am not gonna show it.

"You know you can ask the same thing in a polite way" I sighed.

He gave me an angry expression and said "Do what you are told too"

I went to serve him breakfast but I tripped on something and was about to hit the floor when Kiaan came to my rescue. He held my waist roughly and we both looked into each other eyes for what seemed forever. His lips were dangerously close to mine. Then I heard someone clearing their throat. I quickly took a step back and looked at the person who cleared their throat. It was my parents-in-law. They had a huge grin on their face. I blushed furiously. I couldn't even look at Kiaan's face.

Everyone took their seats on the dining table and I began serving Kiaan and my parents-in-law. After we had our breakfast, Maa said "Kiaan beta, why don't you take Myra to her school"

He showed me a disgusting look and said yes to his mom. I quickly went upstairs to get my bag. Kiaan was all ready.

The car ride was so boring. So I played the radio and started humming to it. I didn't realize that I was humming until he stopped the radio. I just sat there quietly. Soon we reached to the school and I got down. I said bye to Kiaan. I wish Kiaan was romantic like in the movies where the hero gives a kiss to the heroine when she leaves.

I went inside the school and went to the office to get my schedule. After having a small chat with the staff in the office, I went to my first class. My teacher introduced me to class and told me where to sit. I took my seat beside a girl. I took out my books and started to write the notes the teacher was giving.

"Pssss," said the sound. I ignored the sound first but I heard it again. I turned to look where the sound was coming from. It was from the girl who says beside me.

"Hi, I am Rina and you are," she said.

"Hello, I am Myra," I said a bit nervous.

"Don't be nervous, Myra. I am not gonna eat you" she said with a smile.

I smiled at her.

"Okay. Now show me your schedule" she looked at and said "omg we have the same classes together. I will show you around the school. From now onwards we are best friends"

Soon the bell rang and Rina was taking me to our next class when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry," I said.

"It's okay, honey. By the way, what's your name" He said.

"Myra," I said. Before I could ask his name, Rina dragged me. "Don't ever talk with him, Myra. Stay away from him. He is a playboy" she said.

I just nodded. Soon it was a lunch break and I am so glad it is cause I am starving. Rina said she had to do something so she went away. I took a seat near a big tree and started singing. It gives me peace and I just love singing it.

After singing the song, I heard a clapping sound. It was from the boy I met earlier. I started to walk away but He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"Hi, I am Hari. Nice meeting you." Hari said

"Lee....ea..ve m..ee," I said stuttering.

"I see, Rina has already told you what I am. Don't worry, I only like one girl. I just wanted to be your friend" He said.

"Okay," I said.

"Give me your phone number" I gave him my phone number and he said he will call me in the evening. Before Rina came He left.

"Was that Hari?" she asked.

I said I don't know. Finally, we finished school. I was about to exit the building when Rina called me. She took my phone number and said she will text me.

I exited the building to see my father-in-law waiting for me. I got into the car and he asked me how was my school. I said it was nice and made friends. We talked about how my day was and in 5min we reached the house.

I went inside to see Maa waiting for me. She asked me all the things that happened in the school. I told her everything except about Hari.

I ate some snacks and went upstairs to study. After an hour, Kiaan came to the room. He looked at me and said nothing. I sighed. I wish my husband was romantic. I finished my homework and went into the bathroom to change. I came out and I got scared.

Kiaan was looking very angry and was standing in front of me holding my phone in his hands.

"WHO IS HARI" he shouted at me.
