"Do you want to leave?" Link asked.
“Yes, I’m scared of what will happen if we stay. I think the sooner we leave, the better it will be for us,” Jada replied.
"I know you're scared, but it's going to get worse before it gets better."
"Hey, someone's coming. I will meet you at our usual spot," he continued.
“See you soon. I love you, Link,” she said.
"I love you too, Jada."
Hanging up his phone, Link went to the living room chair and leaned over.
"So Rugrat, how much did you hear?" Link asked as he began pulling his sister out from behind the settee.
"How did you know I was here?" Talia asked, rubbing her head where her brother pulled her hair.
"You forget I can always sense when you're near Rugrat. Now, what did you hear?"
