after such an intimate and intense moment I was surprised that Kacy left me alone to finish my bath.

my body felt sore but the hot water was soothing making my muscles relax.

washing my long hair was proving to be slightly difficult, the tub was deep and my chin barely left the water, the only thing I could think to do is sit on my knees I couldn't stand my legs still like Jell-O, after about ten minutes of trying I just gave up I can just wash my hair later at home,

" ugh f**k I hate this" I complained in a whisper.

the door then opened as Kacy walked in dragging a chair behind him, he flipped it around and sat in it backwards his torso against the back rest facing me as I sat awkwardly in the deep bath water.

"ahem" Kacy cleared his throat,

"okay little mouse I'm ready for my story" he reminded me.

"you want me to tell you right now"I replied

"yes now and don't leave anything out"he ordered.

I sighed " do you want my story or just my history with your beta?" i remarked.

"humor me little mouse" he whispered patting my head gently.

I gulped at his answer knowing at the end of my shitty life story I would no longer have this beautiful man as my mate.

I let out a breath and prepared myself to relive my trauma.

"so I guess my life started the moment my mom and dad were murdered" I stopped looking into his eyes trying to read his expression but it was blank so I continued.

"and that's day alpha zak made my older brother Daniel his heir, then Daniel named me to be the human lycanthrope diplomat for our pack" I told him how Darlene had tortured me tell Luna Brittany had made it so I can live in the closet basement of our pack house I was surprised to see no judgment or really anything showing in his expression he just sat and listened it made me quite calm,

"then I was asked by alpha zak to keep my distance from Dan for the rest of the celebration, but" I held the last word longer on my tongue, "it was difficult because my brother does enjoy being around me, so the morning that we were to set up for the celebration that's the first time I met your beta, Alexander. I'm guessing he was in a bad mood and I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going, and I well I ran right into him falling to the floor, in that moment I thought he was going to kill me but Dan came to my rescue, and I thought I had survived the encounter till about the time we lit the bonfire. That's when a friend of mine micky decided to try and come on to me and I ran into the crowd to get away from him as he followed closely behind, and just as I found a break in the crowd to what I hoped would be safety, I slammed into beta Alexander causing his drink to spill all over his shirt that's when he proceeded to ruthlessly beat the ever loving f**k out of me I was seeing Stars, and blood was pooling in my mouth so I spit it everywhere on the ground, I was on my hands and knees, I knew I was going to die right then and there but Dan saved me again, and that's when I met Alpha lark and Luna Zoe they took me to their pack hospital and nursed me back to health, and made me one of their pack they didn't care that I was human they treated me like their own child, and I did become the human lycanthrope diplomat actually, and I tried to forget about everything that had happened, my entire life before and move forward and become a new person, until a few days ago when i brought coffee into the office and the only man I've ever been afraid of ,standing at the door to Alpha Lark's office like a bodyguard from hell, the only man I knew I couldn't get away from your beta, and he pinned me to the wall and tried to kill me again, not only me but ghost, Goddess I don't know what I would do if anything happened to ghost" I stopped and pulled in a shaking breath trying to keep myself from crying, I managed to gather myself.

"so that's why I freaked out but I do realize now that I may have overreacted" I ended my story with that final sentence and waited for him to ask me to leave.

yet all he did was look at me with confusion and pity. I hate the look of pity.

"well Jesus that's super f****d up baby girl" Kacy finally said after what seemed like forever, then he stood up and I knew it was coming the rejection, he reached into the now lukewarm water and pulled out the drain.

he left as the water got lower and came back with the biggest fluffiest towel I've ever seen.

"come on out you go" Kacy cooed at me wrapping the fluffy towel around me and carried me effortlessly to the bed.

"do you need help with your hair" he asked pushing my hair back from my face.

"I don't think so alpha but thank you" I replied

tho as soon as the words left my mouth I knew I f****d up because he was suddenly over top of me a wild look in his eyes.

"oh Goddess I'm sorry Kacy it just slipped out" I whined.

"ugh no I'm overreacting your just so cute" he mused and to my surprise he was blushing,

" it's hard to control myself around you" he added

"so you aren't going to throw me away?? don't I disgust you??" I exclaimed.

"what?? no why would I do that??" he was suddenly very confused,

" I've waited my whole life for you and I'm not going to let you go ever" he stated then he pulled me to him in a bear hug , I wanted to pull away but it felt so right and so comforting.

"alpha Kacy??!"a voice called out fronthe other side of the bedroom door, the voice was familiar.

"yes I'm in here" kacy called back, the door opened and in walked Dan with a huge smile on his face ghost and the other boy right behind him, I was quickly covered in giant slobbering boofs, I couldn't help but giggle as kacy tried to remove them with no luck.

"HALT WHO GOES THERE!" I yelled and my boys all laid down around me ghost taking over my lap,

I looked over at Kacy he had the best surprised look I've ever seen,

"is that really all you have to say to get them to listen " he asked

I nodded and he gave me the most beautiful smile it was full of love and admiration.

"your so cool " he remarked.

we both looked up from our moment to Dan just standing in the middle of the room awkwardly shuffling from one foot to the other.

"so is someone gonna fill me in here or what" he asked annoyance filling his tone.

"let's let her dress and I'll fill you in old friend" Kacy stood and led my brother out of the room closing the door behind him.

I sat there for a good while and just ran my hand through ghosts fur calming myself before I put on alpha Kacys clothes he had left for me .

ghost yawned loudly in my lap.

"me too buddy, me too"
