“You know,” said Sonia. “If you keep inviting me to your cabin and plying me with alcohol like this then people are going to talk!”
“They’ll only do it once!” replied Drake. “I’m sure you’d see to that!”
Sonia tilted her bottle of beer at him and smiled. Drake sat down with a sigh and took a pull on his own drink.
“So what’s the plan, Captain?” Sonia asked.
“Nothing has changed really. If someone on the station had been able to give us some useful information it would be different but their entire plan for trying to deal with the Dark Acolytes is to hope we run into them. That means we carry on as before and let luck take its course.”
