Drake returned his attention to the battle just as the second Dark Acolyte ship went up in a huge explosion.
“That wasn’t us!” said Sonia. “We had them in a lot of trouble but they took their own ship out.”
“All right, focus on the one that’s left. Make sure you keep a really close eye on the readings from their powerplants. I don’t want us near them if they go the same way as the last ship.”
“Aye, Captain.”
Despite being a similar size to the Dagger the Acolyte ship was completely outmatched, especially now it was on its own.
