Trap

At the national news desk that employed the reporter, they put up a news report about her death, and the name of the report was, “Possible Alien Cover-up, killed reporter.” The three men were very confused on how the news desk got all of her information, she got from them.  When Colonel Wyatt found out about the news report, which was now hitting all the major news outlets, including all the local outlets, he confronted Joe, and wanted answers to how they got this report, when he said he took care of the reporter. The Colonel was very angry at Joe, and he wanted him to find out how, right now! Colonel Wyatt was feeling that Joe was becoming more of a liability, then anything. The Colonel was contacted by a “Natural” about Joe’s incompetence, and told the Colonel to take care of him. He was bringing to much attention to our plan. Joe’s idea of taking care of something was to just kill it! The Colonel was not about random murder cover-ups, but he had done one to many for Joe.             Joe knew that he had missed something and that led to information getting out to the public. The rumor of an Alien Government Cover-up was front page news, on every paper and news channel. The Colonel was confronted by the “Naturals” to find out how much damage had been done with this leak. They wanted to know who was responsible for the information, getting to the media. The Colonel told them that it was “Scott and Jeff and also his son.” They told the Colonel that they all needed to be silenced, by any means possible. The Colonel contacted the Detective and informed him that he had a job for him. He needed the Detective to come and meet him in his office, but this was to be a covert meeting. He informed the Colonel that he would be on his way shortly. He finished up his paperwork at the Police Station and then left the station, got in his car and headed to the base. He got to the front gate where he checked in. He was directed to the visitors’ parking lot. He parked his car, and then went into the main entrance. He went in through the main doors to the reception desk, informed them that he had an appointment with Colonel Wyatt.       After checking in, the Detective was directed to the elevator that would take him right to his office, which was down a long hallway, then take a left, follow that hallway to the elevator, then call it, then he would be brought down to the office. As soon as he got down to the Colonel’s main office, he was met by two men in black suits, who escorted him into the office where the Colonel waited. He was told to sit down, and that this would only take a few minutes. The Colonel told the Detective that Joe needed to be taken out of the picture. He said that “he was like a wild dog that was no longer controllable.” He asked the Colonel what he meant by “taken out of the picture? Do you want him gone or just controlled?” He informed the Detective that he would leave it up to him. He also stated that he was responsible for the death of the reporter at the Airport, as well as his friend Brian, and the Motel m******e. His response to all this was, “I will take care of him.”             The Detective left the base and headed back to the Police Station, where he met with the two officers, which had previously been “Changed.” He needed there help to take care of Joe. He told the two that he needed them to bring up the report on Joe, and follow through with the statement that the body that was found, was not Joe, it was a decoy. As soon as they were done, he would get a warrant for his arrest, and charge him for the murders at the hotel and for Brian and the reporter at the Airport. The two officers put together the police report to take to the District Attorney’s Office, where they would get the arrest warrant. All this went as planned. A warrant was issued, and all the evidence was tagged and cataloged. Then the Detective and the two officers found Joe and put him under arrest. Joe put up a fight. The Detective informed him that this was because he is out of control and has killed too many innocent people. Also that the “Naturals” want him out of the picture. He was then given the choice that they could put him in Jail, of just take him out to the woods and shoot him in the head like a dog with rabies, so he choose to go to Jail.         When the Detective was done with Joe, and he was out of the picture forever, he informed the Colonel. Then Colonel Wyatt contacted the “Naturals” and let them know that the issue with Joe had been taken care of. They informed him that there was still the three that are perusing the issue, that need to be taken care of as well. They asked the Colonel what he had in mind for those three. He told them that they needed to be “Changed” so that they were working for us. The “Naturals” accepted this plan, and told him to execute the plan and don’t make any mistakes this time. He said that he would take care of it himself. The Colonel had some reservations about “Changing” his son, but he knew that his son would not see things his way. And that he would just be a wild card in the deck, and very unpredictable. So he had no choice but to set a plan in motion.             The three men were still in shock over the death of the reporter, but they couldn’t let that guilt get in the way of them getting more backup on their side. Ever since the report launched about why the reporter was killed, all the news outlets were running hard with the story. Government buildings were being overrun with reporters from news channels and magazines, looking for statements. But they were not getting anything accept the government side step. The politicians were acting as if it was a preposterous news story. But half of them were “Changed into Hybrids,” and no one was the wiser. Every time a reporter asked for a statement, it was answered with “No Comment.” They were just hopping that the reporters would get tired of the same old responses, and give up, then move onto a different story. So the “Hybrids” in the Government positions decided to try to give them a different story to run with. So they tried to turn the tables on Scott, Jeff, and Agent Wyatt. As if they were trying to start a civil war inside our Government, and that they were nothing but Insurgents.         The Colonel called his son, and asked him to “meet him on base with Scott and Jeff, so that they could talk and work something out.” He told his dad that “he would get with Scott and Jeff and let him know.” Agent Wyatt was still over at Jeff’s home. They were glad to see the news running wild with the cover-up story. He asked them if they would want to go meet the Colonel on base to talk, which they all agreed that it sounded like a trap.             He called his dad back and agreed that the three of them would come on the base and meet. He also told him that if they got there and it seemed like a trap, they were gone, and the media would be called. The Colonel agreed. But it was going to be a trap! They just needed it to look good right at the start; before the trap was sprung. All three of them got into Agent Wyatt’s car and they drove over to the base. It was late at night and barley anyone was in the main building in the Intelligence Command. They drove on base and parked near the main doors. They went in and no one was there to meet them or direct them. They all looked at each other and said “have we been set up?” Agent Wyatt got a call, telling him to follow the long hallway to the end, and then go left, then follow that hallway to the elevator, once there call the elevator, get in and press call. They followed the directions. Scott and Jeff looked at each other, because they had been in this elevator before. They were going to the Colonel’s main office.             They got on the elevator and pressed the call button. The doors closed and it started to go down. It seemed like it took a while to get the bottom. It finally arrived and the doors opened to the large white room with only the elevator doors and one door that led to the Colonel’s office. They heard the voice of the Colonel over the speakers saying “come through the set of doors, to the office.” The doors were unlocked by the sound of a buzz unlocking the magnetic locks that held the doors closed. They all walked in. The Colonel was sitting at his desk, and the two men in suits were standing at the door, one on each side with guns pointed at them. Scott picked up his burner phone and there was no service where they were at. They were all led to their seats, where they were strapped down to their chairs. The back of the chairs laid down on all of them, which turned into examination chairs. The Colonel said that “he was sorry to have to betray their trust, but this must be done.” Detective Jones came in with a rolling table with a sterile cloth over the top of it.             The Colonel said that “he cannot have any of you running around leaking the information to the news anymore, getting innocent people killed.” The Detective asked “who do you want me to start with?” He was told “Scott, will be the first one turned.” One of the henchmen grabbed Scott’s head and strapped it down to the backrest, while one of his men pulled out a set of changing devices. Scott was withering around, not wanting to be changed or even have those needles stabbed into his eyes. Jones strapped the device onto Scotts head. Jeff and the Colonel’s son were yelling to “stop, do not to do this.” But the Colonel just kept saying “this has to be done.” They knew it was a trap just to go there, but they had a plan, that if they did not call Agent Romero within ten minutes, this place was going to be breached by the FBI. The Colonel looked at the cameras and there was a team of FBI agents outside the doors waiting to breach them. The Colonel got panicked, and said “hurry continue!”              Jones activated the device and the needles started to press into Scott’s eyes, and all of the sudden there was an explosion and the main doors were gone. By now the long syringes were deep into Scott’s eyes and frontal lobe of his brain, and had already started to inject the Alien DNA changing material. The Colonel said let’s go, and him and his men went through his private exit, and they were gone. But Scott had started to go through the change, the FBI Agents broke through the elevators and repelled down the shaft, and pried open the doors in the office. When they came in to the room, all three of them were strapped to examination chairs and Scott had a device strapped to his head. Scott was screaming for them to get it off his head. They retraced the needles and pulled the contraption off his head. Scott seemed dazed, but seemed like the same old Scott. The FBI cut all of them loose, and took Scott by ambulance to the hospital, where they were prepared for anything.               Agent Wyatt and Jeff were very worried about Scott and what he had been through. The doctors checked him over and looked in his eyes and put him through an MRI and checked his brain, aside from his eyes stabbed with needles. Everything seemed to come out fine. Agent Wyatt told them to check his Blood and run his DNA. They ran his Blood, and it came back normal, with no anomalies. Scott said that “he was surprised himself, and that he could feel the stuff being pumped into him, but it did nothing.” The worst part of the entire thing was, pain in the eye’s and pressure in his head. Scott said that he was fine to go home, for the night. Agent Romero and his team were still out looking for the Colonel and his men. There were tunnels all over under the building of the Intelligence Command. That is where the Colonel and his men had disappeared to; it was like a maze. Agent Wyatt took Jeff to his home. Scott said that he just wanted to go back to his own home, so he was dropped off there, all alone.             Scott felt better knowing that Joe was not around, but they still needed to worry about the other men, in the Colonel’s command. It was the middle of the night, so Scott just sat in his reclining chair and relaxed. He shut his eyes and just let his mind wander. After several minutes he started to get flashes and visions in his head, but they were not his. Scott was not only getting visions, he was getting thoughts as well. They were coming from Aliens; at least that is what he was seeing. The visions got stronger and started to last longer. He started to wonder if what was injected into his head actually did something. The thoughts were beginning to be about him, because they could sense him as well. He started to get a little scared, as to what was happening to him. He wanted to drown out the thoughts, so he tried a few glasses of whiskey. That at least helped him fall asleep. He slept the entire night, but he dreamt about the “Naturals” all night. Up until that night, he had no idea what the “Naturals” were after, but all their thoughts came rushing to him through the night.             The next morning when he woke up, it was as if he had the most vivid dreams, but it did not fade like a normal dream usually does. These memories seemed to be part of him now. He got out of his reclining chair and got a pad of paper. He started to write down all his thoughts and memories, from the dreaming he had done throughout the night. The thoughts were very real, to the point that they gave him a panic attack, once he started to write them down. He knew what the Aliens end game was. There was only a few “Naturals” left in existence, and they had no way of repopulating their own kind. They were ancient Aliens that had been around for several thousands of years, and they slowly died off. But they found a way of creating a species that was part of them, that they could transfer all their memories to, which would fulfill their mission. In creating this evolutionary species, they discovered how to make humans into “Hybrids,” which would insure that their mission would be successful. Their goal was to eventually govern over the human race, as them being the more advanced evolution of life. And if all the “Naturals” were gone, then the “Created” would take over, once they were activated. There are two ways to activate a “Created.” first; radio signals, strong enough to rupture all the dormant DNA strands; in turn, taking over the human DNA. Next, by attempting to turn them into a “Hybrid,” which would activate the DNA strands to take over? Scott knew that he was from Alien descendants, and not human. He still had all of his memories and thoughts, but he felt that he now had a new perspective on life, a new purpose. That morning as he sat at his kitchen table pondering what he really was, he was very confused. On one hand, he grew up human, and on the other, he was actually from an Alien culture, which is dying off, and he was the key to their ultimate existence or extinction. Scott knew that he could not inform anyone else about what had happened to him throughout the night. He had to continue being just Scott from earth, a normal human for the time being. Jeff called him that morning, just to check on him, and to make sure that he was alright. He told Jeff “that he felt great, like he got a full night sleep for the first time in a couple weeks.” Ultimately he felt better then okay. Nothing else was changing on him; well not yet anyway. Scott now had a telepathic link to all “Hybrids” and “Naturals,” since he was the first “Created” to ever be activated; it was new to all parties. He just had to think of contacting a “Hybrid,” or “Natural” and he would be in their thoughts. Also he knew where they were at that very moment. He could even control the “Hybrids.” Jeff asked him “if anyone has tried to contact him at all, like the Colonel or the Detective, from last night.” He informed Jeff that “no one at all has tried; he was just alone with his own thoughts.” Scott had to tow the line on both sides, because that is what he was kind of being forced to do. Agent Wyatt called him and asked “if he wanted to be picked up, to go over the Jeff’s home to plan?” He replied “yes, I would.” Scott got ready for the day, with a new prospective on life in general. As soon as the Agent arrived, Scott knew that he was out front waiting, before he was even made aware that he was out front. Scott found that every minute, he was gaining a stronger ability, and they keep getting stronger. They made it to Jeff’s house and went in. Their plan was to try to find the Colonel or any of his men; mostly because the Colonel needed to be stopped. Scott tried an experiment. He thought of the two men in black suits, and instantly his mind was connected to them. He could control them if he wanted. Their mandate was to follow his lead. He thought of where they were and all of the sudden he knew where the Colonel and his men were hiding. The two men in suits knew at that moment, who was in charge now; and it was not the Colonel. Basically there was a new Alpha! Scott knew that he just could not come right out and say where they were, he had to act like a human would process information. They needed to know where the Colonel was, but this time they had to have their own trap to spring. There were only a few places that the Colonel and his men would be hiding. It had to do with the maze of old tunnels under the Intelligence Command building. Scott told the Agent that “he knew his way around the tunnels” and that there were old World War II bunkers, which were used for interrogations. He informed Jeff and Agent Wyatt that he could lead them to the Colonel. Scott had already received the location from the “Hybrids” that the Colonel kept with him. All three of them went to the base, which was on lockdown, due to the breach from the FBI. So only the Military Police, FBI and CID could get on the base at this time. But they were with the FBI so they were able to get on with out a problem. Scott knew of an old staircase that led down to the tunnels, so they did not have to go through the Colonel’s office. When they got to the staircase, Jeff said, “how do you know about this?” He made something up and said, “I saw a picture of the original blue prints once, and it had these hidden pathways labeled on it.” They were just glad that he knew his way around, or they could really get lost, in these tunnels. The staircase was very deep and had a lot of landings. It took about ten minutes to get to the bottom, but they were going slow, so they would not make a lot of noise. They finally got to the bottom of the cold and dark staircase, and it opened up into three pathways. Jeff and Agent Wyatt looked at Scott and said “which one?” He said “the one on the right,” so they followed his lead and went to the tunnel on the right. The atmospheres in those tunnels were that of an old castle with a dungeon in the basement. They were cold, damp, and dark, and they were being careful just in case anyone was planning on jumping out at them, and getting the upper hand. Agent Wyatt had his gun out just in case they ran into anyone else that might pose a threat. There were old lamps lit up every fifty feet or so; but they did not put out much light in the tunnels. Deep in the tunnels where the Colonel was hiding, there were sensors set up in some of the hallways, so that he would know if someone was coming close to him. Scott stopped and asked the two of them “what are we going to do if we find them?” He was only asking because he did not want to see anyone get hurt, and if they had different plans Scott would lead them to an empty room. Agent Wyatt said “he just wanted to find his father and stop him, and hopefully just detain him.” Scott said “what about the Colonel’s men?” Who were now Scott’s men, just no one could know. Jeff said, “they are just good soldiers, that follow orders, so give them a chance to surrender.” So Scott clarified, “no one gets hurt, that is the plan!” Scott led them through the long hallways and finally arrived at the one the Colonel was at; but he was gone. Scott did not know about the sensors that the Colonel put in some of the tunnels. Scott was very quickly on his trail, once he re-connected to the “Hybrids” that were with him again. After a few moments, they came to a dead end. Scott was certain this was the way, when Jeff said, “I thought you knew where you were going?” Scott walked over to the wall and pushed a dummy brick wall, which opened up to a furnace room, and there stood the Colonel and his “Hybrids”. The Colonel looked at them and asked “how did you find us, down here?” The Agent just replied “it is over dad.” The Colonel just stood in the corner, “saying, this is not how it ends!” Then he looked at Scott and then finally said, “I know what you are.” Scott played it off as if he had no clue what the Colonel was talking about, but inside he did. The Colonel pulled a lever on the wall and the ceiling all around him fell in, including the back wall. When all the dust cleared and rubble stopped falling, they run over to where he was standing, and he is gone. But all his “Hybrids” were there, except the Detective. They took the two of them into custody without any issues, but the Colonel was gone, and on the run. As soon as they got back to the main floor, they handed the two off to CID, for questioning. But they would not get anything out of them, because they were too loyal; but to whom! Jeff pulled Scott aside, and asked him “how he really knew where they were at and what did the Colonel mean.” Scott looked around, to check to see if anyone was within earshot of them, and then said “I have changed, I am a Created.” Jeff replied “how is that possible?” He told Jeff everything, that had started to happen to him, since the night prior, and that he was now connected to all of them. Jeff said “all of whom?” Scott said “the Naturals, and the Hybrids.” Jeff asked about the “Created” ones. He was informed that Scott was the only “Created” ever to be activated. Scott told Jeff that he could sense the fear in the “Naturals” because he is the next phase in their evolutionary chain, and that they cannot control him, like the “Hybrids.”
