2 - Oliver Taylor

307 Words
Oliver is going to kill himself, if his brother doesn’t do it. He didn’t realize his nephews are no longer playing on the parking lot, but on the side of the road. Thankfully, a woman pulled Carl into safety, but they still got hit. On closer look, the woman got hit on her left shoulder. She was moaning in pain. “Oh no! Gary, it’s Lee!” a woman suddenly shouted from behind me. A man came running from the restaurant. “I already called for an ambulance.” I told the woman. “I’ll go with her.” She declared. They talked on the side before the man went away again. I didn’t catch their conversation. “Cara, can you take the kids home?” My sister is holding both of our nephews. Carl is clearly shaken up and Drew is openly crying. “Sure. Will she be okay?” She started to move closer. “Take the kids. Don’t let them closer.” I gave her a stern look which she clearly understood. “Did she hit her head?” The woman suddenly asked, sitting beside me. “I don’t think so.” I saw the way she landed on the ground, butt-first before she eventually laid down. “A pity.” She muttered under her breath. That made me raise an eyebrow. “You want her hurt?” I thought she was a friend. I suddenly don’t want her near the woman. “She has retrograde amnesia. I thought if she hit her head once, she might regain her memories back. It’s just a thought.” “You’re kidding, right?” She didn’t reply. “What’s her name?” “Lee Smith.” “No, really?” She pursed her lips and gave me a dark look. “That’s the name she wanted.”
