Alex’s POV I sighed in defeat knowing that he was right. I turned around and made my way to the door but stopped just as my hand rested on the handle. “She will let me fix this right?” I asked. “I sure hope so,” he said. “Thanks for the reassurance brother,” I snickered as I exited. I only took a few steps before I stopped. “I thought you had left,” I said slowly. “I couldn’t exactly walk around in these clothes,” she said as I turned around. She was sitting on the floor with her knees pulled to her chest and her arms around them as if to protect herself. “If you don’t like me walking around alone at night or during the day for that matter, I didn’t think you’d appreciate me walking around alone while dressed like this,” she said referring to the baggy clothes and wet hair
