“Can we talk about this inside?” I asked.
“Sure,” she said and walked straight past me, and opened the door.
“Can you call Alex?” I asked Felix as we walked into the room.
“So,” she said as she sat down. “You lied to me, didn’t you?” she asked.
“I…”
“Don’t even bother denying it because I can see it in your face,” she huffed. “Spit it out already.”
“We have to wait for Alex,” I said slowly.
The way she acted now hurt me but I also knew that I had deserved it. She was hurt too. I had lied to her more than once and she knew it.
“So, he is involved in it too,” she stated. “Great.”
“Technically it is our secret and the one getting involved in it was Paige,” Felix said. “Which is why we need Alex.”
