Two days have passed since the night with Stacy. We’ve gotten much closer now, and I was living my normal life, pretending as if the encounter with Jeremy and the text still didn’t hang heavily in my mind. Today was my stepfather’s birthday, the celebration was fixed in the evening. The gown my mother had sent me to wear was hanging in my closet inside.
