I left the office without telling Priya where I was going, the photo folded carefully into my jacket pocket, and drove across town to the small trading office Leo ran out of a converted warehouse near the docks, his father's old company still bearing the same modest sign it had carried for years.
He was outside when I pulled up, loading something into the back of a delivery van, sleeves rolled up, entirely unaware of what was about to land on him.
"Leo," I said, getting out of my car fast, my voice already sharper than I intended.
He turned, surprise crossing his face at finding me there at all. "Daniel. Everything alright?"
